The whole point is that she’s letting go o her old self with her rigid rules. She thought she had to be perfect - stay in an unsatisfactory marriage, gracefully go gray. Then when big died I think she realised that she could drop dead any second and she needed to let go of her arbitrary rules.
I know that we collectively hate Che the character as a fandom. But I am glad to see that Miranda is starting to ease back into small characteristics that we know her for. Hopefully if the series get to season two it focuses more on her relationship with Brady and her new professional life and not so much on her love life.
It is so magical how the music fades out as Carrie is leaving the memory lane and getting back to real live, closing an important chapter of her life and giving herself the right to start over and leaving past behind. pure poetry.
I love how Miranda is actually conversating with Brady now as an adult compared to how we last saw him as a little one! And Miranda's hair looks SO much better! The red hair makes her look youthful and vibrant.

seeing the girls again made me so happy. especially seeing carrie again. it felt like seeing old friends. i loved the ending! it makes so much sense that Carrie has her own podcast in this day and age. Loved her kissing Franklyn in the end. Also, side note! i was an extra in episode 3 and SJP saw me looking at her in awe because she’s my idol and she smiled and gave me a big wave. it felt like she saw how happy i was and it made her happy. just thought i’d share.

Not just in France, but in most countries, it's illegal. That's why most people do the dumping at night. Not many people around to see. If it's done during the day, there's usually a lot of family and friends around, so it's done discreetly.
Inaccuracies pull people out of the movie and are annoying. If producers want people to enjoy their movies and stay captivated, things like this should be accurate.
They should’ve cut the last scene after her „And this is …“. Cleverly pressured Kim into coming back. ;-) SJP looked so much like in the last original season, and no matter how badly this new thing has been written and told, she is an amazing actress when it comes to portraying Carrie. Absolute perfection. Now: Change all the writers, use some oldschool pros to write season 2, pair the 4 up again and come up with really interesting and believable storylines for them, and we will all be pretty happy and the characters finally get what they originally deserved
@@lisanewzealand the bridge is where he finally told her she was the “one” when he went to go get her from Paris (end of season 6). This was important because in the first season she begged him to tell her she was the one and he wouldn’t and finally he did on that bridge which was about 15 years prior to his death and by then they had been married for almost 12 year before his death . Very important to the series

If anyone was curious about the song playing at the end when Carrie announces the name of the podcast, it's " In Love With You" by The Paradise. I liked the Alan Braxe version vs the original which it seems like they used that too. And not that anyone cares, the the 10 second ending of her podcast was the only redeeming part of the whole reboot to me!!!

The paris makes no sense. They met and lived and died in nyc. He rescued he in paris for a day, two? And the dress...cmon. nobody would do such theatrical gesture. Not even carrie.
Paris was to Carrie the moment when the man she had chosen from day one, who was always the most elusive to her finally chose her. As for being dramatic, I admit it seems so, but let's not forget that she is a lot older now, with access to more means than before, she has surely spent a lot of time with her husband in Paris. So I believe that looking at it from this angle would make it more plausible.
The bridge was symbolic of their love. Years later, he traveled across the world to meet her on that bridge and say what she always wanted to hear, that she’s the one. There’s no other specific spot that holds significance to their relationship in the show

My heritage is Welsh, Irish, Scottish so gather I have some terms through the 'ol DNA, haha. @@swanlake8827 Samantha was the favorite character of many! Still SJP was earning $3.2M per episode while Kim, Kristin and Cynthia were making only $350K per episode. Friends characters were all earning the same and they did not allow that to change. Episodes about Miranda or Charlotte were kind of boring, the most fun and entertaining stories were always about Samantha.
France only accepts cremated remains when the cremated person was French or had family in France who wished to receive the cremated remains. Big wasn't French, neither is Carrie and so it would be impossible to fly those remains from NY to Paris because the French administration would not allow it. And second of all it is strictly forbidden to dump anything in the Seine river and certainly not human remains so Carried (in that very inconspicuous gown which can be seen from space) would be immediately arrested by the police which patrols CONSTANTLY in front of the Louvres Museum, especially at night !
That would be so good. It's like there were only two men Carrie truly loved in her lifetime, and both of them could share life with her. Especially after the moment with Aidan in second movie it would make sense. Not to add, John Corbett looks even hotter with age. But I think producers got angry with the actor that he "joked" or assumed or something that he will be in 1st season and announced that.
I watched 3 and couldn't watch more not the same as the original but just watched this clip here and it looks like maybe they were trying to come back to the magic the original had. My opinion

That Timmy Woods bag first appeared in the original series as Carrie and Big were looking for apartments. It was perfect to bring to Paris and great connection from past to present and final ending. FYI, Timmy Woods iconic hand carved wood bags made in the Phillipines are collectibles. Another iconic one was the old fashion telephone bag which Carrie had on her stoop one night, talking with Miranda. I actually own that one ☎️
