Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon are the only actress in this series to win Emmy Awards. Sarah Jessica Parker had a clause in her contract for this show stipulating that she will not do any full nudity. This is why the audience never sees Carrie in anything less than underwear, whereas all the other main female characters have been filmed in much less. Sarah Jessica Parker & Cynthia Nixon were both pregnant during season 5. Cynthia Nixon was pregnant during season four. Her baby was born in 2002. The naturally blonde Cynthia Nixon dyed her hair red to play Miranda on the show.

Aiden is a good man, but he wasnt right for Carrie. People try to make things black and white. Aiden was into stuff carrie wasnt into, Carrie liked the fabulous city life not cabins and camping and a simple life. It's really that simple but people want to make Carrie to ultimate villain.

@@Tripp393 It actually isn’t good filmmaking. If you look closely, too many of the people behind them are watching, not like in real life, but obviously watching filming. And the woman laughing is unnatural as well, not to mention she keeps looking in the direction of the camera. The production didn’t actually do a great job of managing background in this scene.

I miss these two girls! The reboot, yes I know they older and gone through life, but I practically can’t see anything from their original personalities! It's an entirely different time and an entirely different world now. Things are polar opposite of what they were in the 90s and 2000s. The characters have changed to adapt to the times. Also, they are a good bit older now, so obviously they aren't going to be exactly the same as they were in their 30s and 40s....

This was when I knew Miranda could be saved. Carrie was in trouble. By the end of it all Aiden hated Carrie and no one can convince me otherwise. That kiss in the second movie happened in her mind only as far as I’m concerned.

Aiden couldn't tame Carrie. He wanted to marry her, but she too afraid to commit. Aiden wanted to settle down and have a family and Carrie just wanted to be Carrie. She totally broke Aiden's heart and he resented her for a long time after that. We also can't forget that Carrie was cheating on Aiden with Big, who was cheating on Natasha at the time. The whole situation was a giant cesspool of trashiness. Miranda and Steve were so off and on for the longest time that I think they had almost gotten used to it.

I was younger when I watched this show and didn't realize how brilliant the script was. Aidan's and Steve's new girlfriends are much more beautiful than Carrie and Miranda and look younger tbh. They seem to be classy and nice overall. You can tell that by how they're smiling just sitting close to their boyfriends. Yet, the guys will return to those two weirdos who dumped them multiple times. Messy
