The guy playing ralph is definitely the best AFTER pacino in this film. He is clearly very talented and all of his scenes broke my heart- the way he was able to emote and deliver his lines so sincerely was brilliant. I wonder what happened to this actor...
@@markjackson4285 what I adore about this surprisingly forgotten film is how it captured the conveyor belt and uncaring nature of the legal system. Those on the lower rung of society just routinely get passed by with a judge who might be in a bad mood on the day of standard sentencing, just like with agi. The random losing of probation reports, it's literally a matter of luck a lot of the time. No consistency but total protection for elites with money. This film was way ahead of its time
This was filmed in the “ Rivoli “ parking garage on Fayette St in Baltimore…..our bar was next door and we were able to watch while this was being filmed……the “ office “ was actually the waiting room…..Al Pacinos acting here was Oscar worthy……
I mean I get it but you know what, the guy killed himself. And I'm not a 100 percent sure if he was wrongfully charged in the first placed. But yeah don't even try to commit a crime if you can't do the time. And the judge is an ahole. He could have saved that other guy if he had just helped Pacino's character but he didn't so I guess the last straw was the judge has no remorse for life.
