After 10 years of living with dysphonia, my brain had adapted to allow a (somewhat) function way of vocalising ... but one that was not without it's problems.
The offer of a new treatment regime means I need to reverse the last 3 years of inhalation vocalising ....and ... like rubbing your belly and patting your head while reciting Shakespeare ... it's not going to be an easy task ...... and so it begins.
