Glad to see this review on The Andersons 24-0-11 as I was planning on ordering this fertilizer for my Fall (September) application. My thoughts are that it should carry me thru until the end of the season if I apply their PGF Complete every 3-4 weeks until the grass goes dormant.

The Andersons is a great fertilizer, although i prefer pgf complete because of the smaller prill size. Can’t go wrong with either one!!! Thanks for the comment and support 👍🏻

What fertilizer would you recommend for my Bermuda lawn. I’m in Bakersfield Ca and cannot find anyone local that has PGF complete. How often should I used fertilizer to give my lawn that thick green look

If you haven’t done a soil test i would recommend it. Only because for example i have had high phosphorus in my soil. Prior to doing the soil test i would use fertilizer that had phosphorus and my lawn didn’t need it. Phosphorus unlike the Nitrogen and Potassium stay in the soil a very long time and will take along time to drop levels. I normally order pgf complete online through the Andersons website or Amazon. A 16-0-8 formulation or 16-4-8 is normally what i like and generally recommended for Bermuda. Too much nitrogen in Bermuda at one time will cause alot of excessive growth. 16-0-8 for example applied at 3 lbs per 1000 will give you half a pound a Nitrogen each feed. Bermuda on average should get between 0.75lb and 1lb of N a month. Based on this PGF complete would be good every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain a great color in your lawn. If you want to go heavier and apply less often such as 4-5lbs /1000 you could also do that. I like the 3lb and more often as it will maintain a better color consistently. Hope this helps 👍🏻

@@dwaynesworldlawn do you know where I can find good Bermuda seed for my backyard. I hear a lot of talk between common and hybrid Bermuda. I can’t find arden15 anywhere
