Hi, guys! I just want to add something: Syril's journey in every arc of the season mirrors that of Cassian's towards radicalism (they even rescued the girl at the end). My only grievance: I really wanted to see Dreedra stomped to death, but hey! Maybe in season 2

Syril, the true protaganist, saved the damsel in distress and will now rightfully get promoted to a worthy position. Long live the Empire!

Cyril and Dedra are the anti Han and Leia. Their "I should thank you" - "You don't have to" is the equivalent to "I love you" - "I know".

Maarva literally killed 2 imperial troopers as a brick

So many things to love in this episode: Nurchi overhearing Brasso and Xan because they're both half deaf from working in heavy industry so they don't realize how loud they are talking. Vel and Cinta sneaking past the censors so they could knock boots. "Come away from the window" as in "Come to My Window". The band actually taking time to tune their instruments first. The citizens of Ferrix having no regard whatsoever for the Imperial schedule or crowd capacity limit. Wilmon stepping gingerly when joining the parade on account of what he is carrying. Cassian being able to flawlessly avoid everyone because he grew up here and as such can play a mean game of hide and seek. Nurchi getting Corv gutted by outing him to Cinta as someone who can walk right through the line of soldiers without question. Maarva's funeral serving as a funeral for the ghosts in Bix's head. That noise Maarva's brick makes when slapping an Imperial's dome off. Cassian's astro-nav instructions are the same ones Nemik taught him. Luthen making the amateur mistake of parking in the same spot twice. Mosk sitting on his ass getting drunk after Syril ditched him. I think you're the first reactors I have seen who actually called that Syril wants a job rather than a girlfriend. My take on it is that he wants his mommy and Dedra is the maternal affection he is starved of at home. That could get Freudian real quick but I'd be okay if they didn't go there.

Love this series. So great to have Maarva return in holo form to kick off an uprising on Ferrix. Sad that the Empire will probably come down even harder, but as Luthen said, "That's the point." He probably didn't expect to have a front row seat. Syril and Dedra totally did it in that storage room. Mon's ploy to throw Perrin under the bus was great and man, she went through with the arranged marriage. But I don't think Davos knows what he's getting himself into. I don't mind not seeing Krieger go down. We had no one in the cast with him. The series is very grounded that way in not showing us anything that our characters are not a part of. Awesome part at the end with that Luthen smile. He's getting Andor, like he wanted from the start. Great reaction and discussion for the entire series, guys!

My greatest fear is Disney will look at the viewership of Fett and Kenobi and compare it to the ho-hum #'s this show got and decide people want dumb fan service more than story telling. Absolutely the best SW since Empire and I might even like it as much as House of the Dragon overall.

In Mon Mothma's mind, she has sacrificed both her husband (or at least she's made the decision that she doesn't care what happens to him) and her daughter. But as you discussed, this could be the best thing for both her and her daughter. Davo is smart and he knows more about the flow of illicit money in the Empire than anyone...that's why they hired him. When he gets into Mon Mothma's accounts, he's going to figure out where her money is going. But if his son is married into the Mothma family, that will buy Davo's silence. And as you mentioned, when it becomes known to the Empire that Mon Mothma is a rebellion leader, Davo is probably the best person to keep her daughter safe.

I do hope Luthen turns out to be a former Jedi, like there's a moment where he's forced to use his powers and it's both awesome and terrifying. That's what this and Rogue 1's narrative was good about doing, showing the scale of power that's in this universe. Before all this, the weakpoint was comical, Darth Vader was campy, the Deathstar was really neat but was one and done, Tie Fighters and Storm Troopers were incompetent faceless fodder, and yes, the Jedi were kinda dull. The final gift this show could give is demonstrate just how far apart Jedi are from everyone else besides the Sith, and also how rare it is for lay folk of the galaxy to really encounter someone highly Force attuned. Yes the Emperor is a Sithlord, but it's really the expansive mechanical bureaucracy and authority of the Empire that is what's oppressing people. People don't fear that he's gonna come down and strike him with lightning. It's not like the middle ages where it's an evil wizard terrorizing the village, the galaxy is wide and far Plus it could also show the fall of Luthen from the light and add on this darkness he's adopted for the cause of the rebellion.
