Oh my gosh...Andre you and your lady danced so Beautifully, and when you added Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer...it opened the flood gates! I'm writng this through tears! Perfect!!!❤❤
I have seen several videos of this dance and I can say that Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews did it best. Nobody seems to come close to the perfection of those twos beautiful performance.
Прелестный танец! Оба танцора хороши: Андре Рьё - само изящество и галантность, а другой артист очень похож на нашего Владимира Заманского. Два типа мужской красоты. Приятно посмотреть. 👏👏👏💥❤❤❤💖💖💖
Magiczny taniec Barbary Wussow i Andre Rieu, przepiękni tancerze, magiczny ten walc .To jest to, co funduje nam nasz Maestro Andre Rieu ,Cudownie się Ich oboje ogląda i słucha tej fantastycznej muzyki . Pozdrawiam wszystkich bardzo serdecznie, gratulacje.JOLA
It makes sense that his mastery of music with his hands and baton, would carry over to his feet. An all around master! He provides such enjoyment to others with this magnificent collections of musical talents that draws us back, time and time again!
WOW and Andre dances. IS there anything that he can not do? Another class act. That is why I frequent this site ore that any other. Andre.....never stop intereaining the world.
I have seen that dance in the Sound of Music any times, but didn't know it was it was the Landler. Classy and elegant, Andre and Barbara dance beautifully together. I think I would love to dance the Landler with Andre too!! 🎶🎶
@@marriettehelling6437 No. He was dancing with Barbara Wussow and his wife’s name is Marjorie. I think she tends to in the background and leave the spotlight to André.
Oh Andre is there nothing you cannot do? How fantastic the Landler danced with Barbara. Andre certainly loves the ladies (I know he is happily married to Marjorie for over 30 years) but a man can still enjoy dancing etc, He is great looking for a man over 65 and never disappoints in his quest to entertain well done Andre
I just ran across this again, the landler is beautiful...right from the start it reminded me of Sound of Music but Maria never finished the dance. I would love to dance this with you Andre', but 1st I'd have to learn the dance, lol. 😘
From what I've seen, modern dancing is more like aerobics or acrobatics ! This Landler sort of dance is charming, and ought to be taught with Scottish & English (etc) country dancing in schools. I bet many current children think that dance is only that ugly, jerky-movements stuff you see so often, when performed with a group, on t.v..... The difference (modern degeneration) is why so many people love Andre Rieu's happy shows. Pretty music, gentle humour (have you seen the anvil number, etc. ?), happy atmosphere, lovely costumes, excellent musicians..... What's not to like?! Life-afirming. xx
Who composed this was music?? Are you serious?? Didn't you watch The Sound of Music 😮😮😮?? Richard Rodgers composed The Lonely Goatherd, wich was written in a 1,2,3,4 rhythm and was adapted for the Laendler with a 1,2,3, rhythm like a Walz. For God sake
@@elsaesteves I am glad you have come to the same conclusion as I have regarding it 's origin coming out of "The Lonely Goatherd" as per my post a year ago. However I believe it is likely to have been from a folk song or tune which they have adapted for the movie. I don't mind being wrong if others can add more light to it.
