@@fullofbullets58 LMFAO, come on man, respect the maestro 🤣but yeah, Segovia had the absolutely big chungus hands, but he perfectly played the most delicate and insanely hard pieces with it! And I don't say it in a derrogatory - from what I heard he always had those since he was a kid and I think it's freaking cool! I have a very unique finger shape, and instead of letting myself down when I face problems with my playing on a hard piece where I have to adapt, I listen and do a little research of some photos of Segovia and that cheers me up! LONG LIVE THE MAESTRO!
Recording quality was perfected by around 1960. His albums sound as good as they could ever sound. Nowadays we can record with lower cost and more convenience, but quality was maximized long ago. So I don’t understand why you’d write that comment.
Segovia’s interpretation doesn’t talk to specialists or academic observers but human heart .He his the only one who really understood the soul of the guitar

The Word in french is « puristes » .It means people who give a big importance to the technical aspect forgetting that music is the expression of human emotions and nature. I think technic is important,but it is just a mean ,an instrument to reach the real target wich is human sensibility .
