I know this is an old comment but my first playthrough after finally beating Qulaag I accidentally pressed the attack button and triggered andre at the time I was a brand new player and all I could do was like avoid that fucking bonfire until I had enough souls to ask forgiveness. What a scrub I was...from then on I faced away from npcs when talking
Can you imagine the kind of edgelord your character would seem to other npcs? "I'm a humble merchant n... why are you facing away?" "So I don't accidentally kill you." "...a'ight."
Limit Breakers Yes my master. I already have discovered that the Moonlight set is the worst armor set in the entire game (possibly the entire series) for everything. Even it’s standard magical defense is equal to a hollow warrior’s set. In fact even if you were max level with the sorcerer class (because it has room for the most level ups and there for actually gets the highest max level bonuses) while wearing the best magical defense items in the game and just wear the moonlight mask which gives a 10% boost to magic defense. It still wouldn’t be as good as just wearing the same stuff at the same level with Big Hat Logan’s big hat. On top of that you need reach about a third to half way through the game, to kill Gwyndolin in a boss fight and then have to go Oswald and actually pay thousands of souls for it even though the hollow enemies at the start of the game have better armor. Fun fact: The Black Iron Tarkus set (IT SAYS TARKUS IN MY HEART) overall gives the best defense in the game. Including but not limited to being the second best physical protection, the highest fire defense, the highest poison resistance, pretty good defense everywhere else and is also the lightest heavy armor set in the game. Meaning you can become A tArKUs NiNjA!

I'd pay for an "Andre everywhere" sytem for Dark Souls where he invades everywhere and his npc dialogue is just him laughing constantly as he smiths your stuff.
