Andre Iguodala tells a story about Stephen Curry putting on a legendary shooting performance in practice with The Golden State Warriors. Subscribe to The Old Man and The Three with JJ Redick and Tommy Alter.
Yea this is kinda random but if some aliens were pointing a death beam at earth and the fate of the universe was on the line I'd probably want Andre Tyler Iguodala (born the 28th of January 1984, drafted in 2004 as the 9th pick and a former finals mvp along with 3 championships with the golden state warriors) to save us by throwing a basketball in a basketball rim🤷♂️
U cant tell me Curry aint no lowkey killer 😂😂😂 to shoot a 3 and turn around and tell denver to shut up before the ball even goes in In a playoff game😳😳😳 #Legendary
@@arnoldpalmer4176 Shut the hell up if everyone hated nba players than they would’ve gotten 100 million dollar contracts. They are the most privileged people in America.
BEST EVER ? Maybe but how many have YOU read? Better than the NBA refs? Kareem's? Ball four? Lenny Wilkins HUH? Jackie Robinson? How much commission are YOU making?
There are many amazing players but in my opinion there have been only two players in my lifetime that have made me think what they did was not humanly possible. MJ and his air acrobatics and curry’s insane shooting skills.
Guy sounds like steve kerr speaking through phil jackson, with a touch of greg popovich. kindred spirits of the hoop.( he 's the dude , playing the dude, disguised as another dude!)
Andre's a great story teller. I know he says he doesn't desire to be a coach, but I still think he'd make a great one. Really smart, great communicator and a hell of a competitor.
This is good though, they run a podcast, don't have some big exec telling them what narrative to argue or whatever. People like Skip etc. are paid to say controversial things to generate discussion and get more views. This podcast is for genuine information and genuine interest in basketball.
@@NickHurrBoi yeah Tim Legler one of the realest. Tbh most former players who played for long careers are usually more authentic. Jalen Rose was one of the first people who defended Kwame Brown
I still remember that shoot in front of the Denver bench and then turn around in the playoffs. Denver was a 3rd seed and steph was playing without another all star that year and he upset that Denver team. So he was telling the bench to shut up when he turn around. That some coldblooded shooter right here. If kobe(RIP LEGEND) or MJ do the same thing people gonna go crazy and tell they have killer mentality. And Portland was up 17 point in 3 game in a row in the 3rd quarter. But then steph average the highest average in NBA history for a sweep with his 36 PPG come back every game in that series and sweep Portland without KD.
Warriors may have won those in four or five games, but those Blazers teams deserve massive credit and Dame is a stone cold killer. Every game felt like the Blazers would have won if they were the team with Draymond instead of us because it was obvious that all they were missing was that defensive floor general. I've been a Warriors fan since I was a kid, back in the 80's, but Dame and his Blazers teams get all the respect from me.
Past his prime (?),still so glad he came to the Heat, This is how Riley maintains the work culture in Miami, hard working vets that still contribute at a high level annnnnnd set the example!!!! Love this guy as a player!
@@fredleeland2464 wtf you saying linsanity is only a thing to y'all asians lmfao no one fckng cares about Lin in US he barely even scored 20 a game 💀💀💀
Along with Draymond Green, JJ has one of the most informative basketball-related podcasts. His insights, personal experiences and respect for the game makes his podcast special. No matter how proficient conventional reporters may be they cannot communicate to the ordinary reader an authentic perspective on what it means to play in the NBA. Ideally, organizations in the podcast business will begin to pair conventionally-trained reporters with retired NBA players.
@@a7fanatical687 they drafted 3 of them goofy?🤨 that was Kd move and I promise you they gonna win another 2 rings within these next 5 years when everybody healthy promise you!!
As fans we attribute those kind of things to Klay because that's just his thing. You mean 25 points in 7 practice minutes. Mad Klay gave put on aim-bot and scored 25 points in 5 minutes and hit all his 13 shots of the quarter. Even hit a three that didn't count, after the ref called a foul. Damn I miss Klay
Blazers fan here. Not surprised at all about Evan Turner wanting to clap for the other team. Most of the time it didn't even seem like he was playing for the Blazers anyway.
Due to his size and build, I think it's very difficult for Curry to be a "great" defender. One thing he has done is that he has shown if you have enough skill, you will make it. NBA has always favoured athleticism over skill and IQ and Steph changed that a little bit. Especially when you see guys like Trae Young being drafted so highly and succeeding.
If Steph was a leader like how LeBron or CP3 is then yes maybe but until then he won’t be. If you want to disagree that’s fine but think about it, when LeBron was on a bad team they were going to the finals every year having to face a super team and even beat them once
Stephen Curry is a great shooter. I saw him drop 6 half court shoots in a round. Just my opinion I also have watch Michael Jordan on TV in has career. I remember seeing Jordan drop 65 points on Boston Celtics one night he was unstoppable. Michael Jordan is greatest basketball player I have ever seen. Magic is probably 2nd and 3 Bird.
