Andrew Johnston, who recently stunned audiences on Britain's Got Talent, performing the same piece, Pie Jesu, at a lunchtime concert in Carlisle Cathedral (Saturday 19 April), where he is Head Chorister.
Andrew, if you read this I want you to know you have the most wonderful voice on earth. I love listen to you. Keep on singing whatever you do!! //Charlotta in Sweden
Every time i hear you sing Andrew i feel very emotional because even though im old i still know what makes this world great, young, talented, hard working kids like you. Shear poetry
Until I listen to Andrew singing, I never heard anyone expressing themselves vocally before who made me cry, apart from my own son... Andrew is a very, very special boy who MUST win tonight. R Vieira -- Portugal
Omg!! Such angelic voice. It's like "insert make believe figure here" sent you here to glorify his/her/it's fictional self. I'm so happy to listen to your song on youtube. We all love you~
I cannot understand why people have to pull this young talented man down, think of your own child, think of what you would think if you viewed the horrible comments of your son, you would be sick to the stomach. He will bring joy to the ears of millions, this young man will go far. He is the best nad did exceptionally well.
I am a 47 year old man, sitting here with tears in my eyes tonight. Not of sadness. I am overwhelmed by what I am hearing. God has richly, richly blessed this boy. And the really neat thing? Is this boy is giving those blessing to everyone else. Well I am moved. Molto, molto bella musica! GRAZIA!
Andrew, your voice is like the angels'. Every time i hear you sing it makes me want to cry. It gives me goosebumps, every hair on my body stands on end. Keep doing what you are doing and you will go far in life. You are great, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
wow perfect setting for such a song. I love how the "echo" of the catherdral enhances the purity of the voice. I believe he sings better here than on the tv show. Angellic and Beautiful. Keep a song in your heart Andrew.
god he truly has the voice of an angel, i could listen to him for hours on end, he gave me goosebumps the first time that i heard him sing, there are millions of people who would kill to have a voice even half as good as that.
Listening to Andrew is such a pleasure. His voice and pitch is so pure and smooth, amazing to listen to. This young man has such talent and I can't wait to see what else he is capable of. He has been truly blessed and I'm proud that he has never given up singing despite what his friends said about his passion
you know, i just became familar with Andrew Johntson's voice today, especially with all the Susan Boyle hype from Britain's Got Talent Show...and when I heard him begin to sing, I was so moved... It's amazingly beauiful, and as you said, I realized that his voice wont remain the same for his entire life and its that fleeting quality of beauty that makes it all so more amazing. I guess I'm just a sap....appreciating the joys of life, even if they can be fleeting.
Make that double wishes from Texas. Andrew's voice has encouraged my search for talented atists such as he. The light of God shines through his voice, and moves something inside every time I hear it.
I love it. I found this because I was searching for Pie Jesu after watching Marie Osmond sing it so well on Oprah. I do remember seeing the Britain's Got Talent clip a few months ago.
I pray that puberty doesn't affect his voice much. With his heart for God and for singing praises, surely he can do much for God's glory. Andrew has a heavenly voice that even the angels would envy. Godspeed in your life and be careful not to let pride build a wall between yourself and God. You will succeed in fame and you have already vanquished your tormentors at your school. Stay strong and keep singing - Eric from Arkansas, USA
he always make me have this insane feeling. its like im,as every1 is,amazed...having goose bumps, and i just feel so...so..odd and great..... U ROCK MAN!
I love to hear your voice Andrew. It is that heavenly Angel voice that only God can put in you! It sounds like an angel singing. And for your bullies, Let God handle them and you just keep doing what you are doing!
Andrew is indeed gifted, and the courage he's shown in the face of bullies is a lesson we can all take a page from. Perhaps consider that God gave him his voice so that his story, and the lesson of courage and belief in self, regardless of whatever obstacles and pitfalls, could be brought to the surface. Thank you Andrew. Always believe in yourself.
you know i'm not a christian any more, but when i hear beautiful music like this, i do feel the spiritual pull -- i think such artistry is something we can all appreciate regardless of our religious convictions.
heavenly voice! God blessed you with a voice like an angel! Anyone who`s making fun of you is cause of envy, cause they will never even dream of a talent like yours! God bless you!
people only bully because they are insecure in themselves and bully people for attention and to make themselves feel better, but when the tables turn they are the first to cry about it. i hope this lad treats them the way he always has and ignores them when they try and pretend they have always been his freind which they will do. good luck son you have a very strong family bond which is more important than anything.
Keep up doing what you really love. If you love singing, don't stop! Bullies are mostly like that, because they don't have what you have and they never will! DON'T STOP SINGING!
Yes, Andrew is standing in the organ loft and what you can see behind him is the mirror the organist uses to see what's going on down below when he's playing for a service.
I just hope he won't give up on his dreams! And I hope too that he won't lose his wonderful voice when he will grow up. He's near the age his voice should get deeper and more «masculine» in a way. Just hope he'll still have a wonderful voice.
I really love your singing. So beautifully.. I always have some tear to dry when I listen to this song. And your voice... So soft and so beautiful. YOU ARE GREAT!!!!

Got to write in Portuguese to express my self clearly:) "Tao lindo que a minha pele fica pele de galinha, se fechar os olhos podia estar a subir ao ceu numa espiral de nuvens brancas a pousar sobre algodao" Love your singing Andrew! greatings from Portugal
I, too, wondered about when the kid hits puberty as well, but then, we also need to remember the male singers who HAVE managed to transcend that with proper training. I think he's in the spotlight now that somehow he will find a way, everyone will, that he stays trained. I SOOO hope he makes it. I agree, his voice is the voice of an Angel from God. Not human, but very angelic.
Unlike Barry White...this guy is 13 he's got a very long way to go....Im glad he still had enough guts to show the world his voice. Good on him...thats more then most people do or acheive... Anyway you cant compare them... Andrew is Amazing......its just wow...
Anyone know if this kid has been asked to sing for the Pope or not yet? His voice is something only God could gift. He stuns me into a revrent silence every time I hear him.
