That was the first stand-up comedy set I've watched in around 10 years. It was lovely to be able to watch this art form again without wanting to throw my phone at a wall, thanks everyone involved. More of Andrew please!
Unfortunately true... I cought a set of a lauded up and coming comedienne... It's literally the theatre of a mentally ill person, making people laugh out of embarrassment, and they laughed right on cue, with their fake polite laughter.
I studied the witch hunts of the US and Mcarthyism and read The crucible, even saw the film. What I never expected was to live in times where opinion and free thinking in the UK would lead to being afraid to speak out,discuss openly something so open to opinion and it seems to come not from the majority of ordinary people like the decision say about Brexit, but from sections of elitists in organisations who simply impose it upon every aspect of life.
The difference was that Mcarthyism was justifiable because Communism is literally evil. Woke is grounded in socialist ideas, like equity, and is just as evil, but more insidious, than Communism. I think it's time for some Macarthyism...
What a refreshing change ! Proper free speech comedy. Brilliant. What the vast, vast, vast majority of us laugh at simply because it is funny. Well done Mr Lawrence.
Ooooohhh, he’s really back now! The last set, I guess the nerves and the time away from gigging made him a bit rusty but he was on fire this set. Well done, Andrew! 🍻
I agree...and I think his entire set was based on observable truths that for some reason we're not allowed to voice...because a social based cult of people with personality disorders has infiltrated and achieved hegemony in positions of power. But enough about women in the workforce. Ha ha.

@@MrMarketingGuy I have to disagree - I really cannot stand Jonathan Pie and dont get the same vibe from Andrew in the slightest. It's all funny so couldnt pick out a special bit. Perhaps you'll understand him one day

I don't laugh out loud very often, but I did numerous times watching Andrew here. That stuff about doing foreign nations a favour by taking their broken pottery was just brilliant. The guy's a genius.
Thank you comedy unleashed for having proper comedy, like it used to be, in days gone by, where everything and everyone was fair game and they took it with the good humour that it was ment with. Where common sense and facts didn't offend people. And thanks for having Andrew on, i would desperately like to go to one of his gigs, but my health currently prohibits this.
Andrew Laurence is one of those rare beasts on today's comedy circuit/ scene. A creature which roars against the intolerable *Cold Cold Cold Packed Faved Left/Woke* establishment.
Fantastic to see Andrew again, I kinda guessed he had been cancelled but I gave up watching News programs and reading News Papers because its all depressing propaganda and bad for people's health! I don't even care what joke he made to annoy whoever he annoyed, I just hope he makes many many more jokes because I always found him to be a really funny guy!
