Reynolds didn’t ask NB to sponsor him. He originally asked if they could make his perfect shoe and he was willing to pay them( his own words). They decided to sponsor him.
As an avid eS user, the recent NB praise has made me feel tempted to try em. I love my core brands but i have to respect when known and respect well made shoe companies make a great skate shoe. I need to get the asics too

Sheeeeee I've never been a fan of how mundane NB shoes are, but the Foy shoes really had me thinking of trying one... with the boss getting shoes? I might have to pull the trigger.

I skate adidas and i love them but you guys give me the feeling to tryed thoses 480. And i always like all the reynolds from emerica so i have to try it for sure.
I thought Reynolds’s after all his research, just asked NB if they could make a pair just for him to skate not even get on the team. Then they figured they would work something out with officially getting him on.
Thumbnail says 440! Anyway, why was this colorway so exclusive? Who doesn't want a reynolds shoe. I was able to get the white pair with black outsole, which I love and is the punkiest colorway imo.
I love Reynolds G6 I'm surprised that shoes is not good enough for him after all the features they put on that shoes it's so comfy but I guess Reynolds really wants that super bouncy and shock absorption midsole.
Someone looking for info on NB's, the 440 is okay but a bit flimsy, good boardfeel and grip. 288 rly good sole and boardfeel, a bit wide on the toe. First tiago no grip, not great fit and too bulky. Walking shoe imo. 508 Brandon Westgat very good, have to break in though. Franky kinda sucks, weird fit, and they run small. Can feel your toes too well on the ground and its a heavy shoe. Other ones run a bit big so try at the shop.
New balance fit me a little tight or narrow on my foot. I’ve wanted to get a couple different pairs over the years. could never get out of the skate shop with them because I don’t want to spend that much money on a shoe that doesn’t feel right. maybe they stretch after some wear but I can’t invest that much money for maybe.
Reynolds need to go back to Emerica! That’s the only company I see him fitting on that company more than any other brand out there! #emerica #andrewreynolds
