@@Spazlites actually I live at work FOH 😂 nobody ever said shit about that woman till now not sayin she can’t hoop just sayin it’s obvious nobody gives a fuck not the fans not the people speaking up not other WNBA players none of them made a big deal about this woman till the lil white girl started gettin shine… and I’m 78% sure you lying bro 😂
I really do not think Caitlin will change the viewership that much for the WNBA. I think the views will go up at first but not drastically to where players are going to get a $20 million contract. I also think she will struggle her first year and some of the media will turn on her. I think after the first year or two when she puts in the work, she will be good.
This conversation was sponsored by Nike. Love it though 😊 The marketing is fantastic! We will all be watching her. They tell you to watch someone and you sit there believing you like her yourself.
Never heard of Aja before compared to Caitlin, and I'm from Southeast Asia. It's just easy, if Aja's marketable, then Nike would've given her a signature shoe a looonngg time ago. It's just capitalism and free market on the work
This is where the conversation is so disingenuous. The girl CTG is talking about been in the league and nobody cared. Be happy that the attention is there and give Caitlyn her props. This is what’s wrong with the woke mentality. Everybody can’t make it. The Market is the most honest judge. People know what they want. Don’t sell Rolls Royce and then give a Chrysler 300
Good thing Charlamagne ain’t an agent. The athlete’s popularity should be what gets their fans to want to wear any shoe as long as it looks good, regardless of the brand. If people are only buying her shoe because it’s a Nike then is she really worth the $20 Million?
One big player isn't gonna change the whole WNBA and automatically make them all get paid crazy amount. That's the whole big deal about her she is a stand out she isn't the rule she is the exception. Stop glazing
N why is she the exception? Cause she can shoot threes horribly. 🤣😂 is the point how are the people you were referring to glazing if they’re not defending anyone you’re glazing her
@@christhaking like she's an exception for being actually famous and in the WNBA so she's gonna be able to talk shit and get bigger contracts. They made it sound like she is gonna be so big that somehow that will mean all other women in the WNBA are gonna get big contracts like her too. They're glazing her like she's way bigger than she is when she's not gonna make it the same for the other women nobody gives AF about lol. Idk if you misread my comment or what but I don't even like her and damn sure wasn't glazing her just pointing out they made it sound like she is big enough it's gonna make all the other players big too lol
A'ja Wilson is the real deal when it comes to the sport of basketball Andrew. The problem is they don't push for her like they do with Caitlin for whatever reason.
Clark got a huge spotlight because of the interest in college sports; after a few months of the new season. She's going to lose a lot of that media interest, as most people won't watch the actual wnba games.
A'ja is the real deal but she's the 2nd most famous player on her team and she just got that upgrade now Candace Parker retired. Kelsey Plum is far more famous and Under Armour gonna give her a shoe. Shit Stewie could not get a shoe hell
@@dafilmmaker89 well she definitely deserves a shoe or to at least be signed by someone to wear their shoes. I see your point though. The thing is if they wanted aja to be the face of the league they would push for it but that's not what they want
That's only for overpriced Jordan's. The highest selling shoes year after years are the super less known models people make fun of having like monarchs, new balance, and stan smith's/superstars and cheap chucks. If Nike makes good colorways of her shoes, plenty of parents would be more than happy to get them for their kids, especially if they're more lifestyle looking. That's how Curry's shoes found their place in the market, they'd make colorful kids versions that parents were happy to get their kids, that were more durable.
Duh, most black people buy expensive unreasonble shoes tyat doesn't mean other people don't wear shoes. But whites, Asians, Latinos and other races wear shoes too... oh, whites on hikes wear reasonble priced Nikes.
I get Clark is talented, but it’s going to take a whole lot more than a couple deep 3’s to get me watching wnba, let alone go to a game. The simple fact is as long as the NBA exists, the wnba will always be an inferior product
