0:40 “You are such a handsome bastard, man.” Andrew’s reaction made me genuinely laugh.

2:07 - great reaction! I think Andrew and Simon are both correct about the female fanbase. His writing makes us want to be loved, Andrew makes us want to be loved by someone so lovely.

Concerning “female following”, yes, Simon has written Alex as a husband who’s in love/awe of his wife and adores his child-us ladies love that. HOWEVER, this “husband” is played by the super handsome Andrew Scott, so they’re both right. Years later, AS’s female fanbase has only grown. His appeal is so huge/widespread, we well know he’s gay, yet he’s still cause of major swoonidge among us...That’s pretty cool.

Love the bit where they talk about working in a supermarket. I'm doing that now and it is hell ha

I was already a fan of both Andrew Scott and Simon Stephens, and perhaps becoming more so through watching these videos - but, as a fledgeling writer, I've just completely turned against Simon! Twenty plays in twelve years?!? You bastard! I'll be lucky to write three in that time, the rate I'm going!
