A nervous, shaken up, little Andrew, wringing his hands, wearing his crooked bow tie fixed from a regular tie and wheezing because of a cold. To be incrediblely honest, I have never in my life thought anything was cute at all until I saw Andrew, what a little sweetheart.
He played Moriarty so well that watching this clip my brain is suspicious that this might actually be Moriarty playing another one of his characters. I applaud you Andrew.
oh god he was so nervous during the speech that it made me slightly uncomfortable. Makes me somehow glad to know that even actors sometimes get nervous when they're speaking to large crowds. He's brilliant tho! He totally deserved it :)
Ohh Lara is so radiant he won and Andrew just.... just... made my cry! I want to smooch him endlessly. He's such a perfect PERFECT human being and such and INCREDIBLE actor. Moriarty is still my favourite character in series 3 (no villain will possibly ever beat you). You deserve all the BAFTAs in the world, babe
"My folks were terribly good at, y'know, not being too worried all the time ... that I hadn't got a proper job" (it's easy to understand rapid speech in an Irish accent when you're... well... Irish). By the way, if you're not British or Irish and perhaps unfamiliar with Tescos supermarket, Kate Thornton's quip "Every little helps" delighted Andrew so much because it's the hook-line in all their advertising.
Awwww my God I love him so much!!! I honestly adore the whole Sherlock crew and I think they are officially the best people and the most talented actors I've ever seen on a TV screen... Love you all, guys!!!
Uh! What a puppy dog of a guy! He's so lovely and un-Moriarty. Once you see how he really is, you realize just how much he really did deserve that award.

I made a list of all the characters I've seen (and in one case, heard) Andrew Scott play and it came to a grand total of 18 (so far). Every one of them is completely different to the last. The man is a chameleon, a remarkable talent, the most instinctively natural actor I've ever seen and a truly beautiful human being. He is, in the words of Benedict Cumberbatch, sublime and absolutely extraordinary. Never has an award been more deserved.
It’s only sad that Benedict didn’t get bafta for Sherlock :(( I’m glad that Martin and Andrew get them bc they are awesome actors but Benedict should get the bafta too🥺
For those of you who've fallen in love with Scott's voice (and why wouldn't you?) you might like to know that he's in a James Joyce drama on BBC Radio 4 this weekend coming. Go to their website, click on the category 'Drama' and scroll down to 'James Joyce's Ulysses'. There are already some clips you can listen to (not sure if Andrew's voice is among them but probably as he's one of the lead actors) and I'm pretty sure the whole thing should be available world wide when it's broadcast.
Just imagine it- you don’t have a clue if you’re going to win the award or not, yet if your name is indeed called out you have to get up on stage in front of hundreds of people and think up a speech then and there while still probably in quite a shock of actually winning- damn I respect all the actors our there sm 💖 also- Andrew, I stan u. (and no I’m not this late to the video, I’ve seen it before lmao)
