I am trying to program my android to the steering wheel controls. But I am having problem with the volume +/- the unit is seeing them as the same. + has a resistances value of 3000hms and - is 150 ohms. I have a spare switch and the resistances are the same so the switch is fine. Has anyone had the same problem and did you solve the problem.
Do you know why mine not be responding to the calibration process at all? I have the same head unit, same car, and pressing the steering wheel buttons does nothing in that menu
Double check if all connectors at the back of the head unit are connected properly. If you have exactly the same unit it should work because it is designed for Mazda 2. Also try hard reset by poking the small hole "RST" with the pin and try the learning process again.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos Thank you - there is one plug from the car that didn't seem to fit anywhere in the unit, but I think it was for an RCA connection (for aftermarket speakers)? I'll try resetting it like you said. AFAIK the wheel controls should come through the main 20 (?) pin as there is no canbus connection.
@@ruvrandomusefulvideos Sorry to bother you about this again - turns out there are two separate settings menus called "steering wheel control" on some Junsun head units. I found the other and it worked :)
