Andy was a copy of Barry. Was as extremely gorgeous like him, sang like him, had the same beautiful smile, witch they all had and the same gorgeous eyes like his brothers. He would have looked like Barry in every way if he didn’t passed away. Miss Andy, Mo and Robin so much. The world is a sadder place without them.
Yeah they were very similar. It's like there couldn't be two copies of so much talent and so it was short-lived. Andy himself admitted that he wasted it, unfortunately.
I still think Andy was much sexier the way he sang those songs, he had that charisma and stage presence…he would be 65 had he lived, he died young and beautiful..😢
Andy was a beautiful man with a beautiful heart and soul. You could feel and hear his heart with every one of his songs. This cover of his brother's Bee Gees were a masterpiece. I will miss him always and continue to listen to his beautiful music for my life.
Andy was so super talented handsome and famous. Too bad he couldnt handle fame and that depression and drugs would take him away so soon. He will be forever young talented and beautiful. Rest in peace andy. You are truly missed.

When I watched this video, I wasn't prepared for another barry gibb. The looks and body movements and hairstyle, that whole person is like a clone of barry. He was so beautiful and gifted like his brothers I heard in an interview with barry him say maurice and robin were twins and he and andy were twins. I believe it! I'll always love those men as long as I live. Perfect men!
......this was an early recording ~ Andy was far too young when this was released (he is covering his bros song here) ~ he came along several years following his bros and their first balladeer career (before their later soul/disco career) ~ in addition: early on, their voices were mistaken for the harmony of the beatles: They All were blessed with increible musical ability ~ God bless !

I agree that Andy had a very beautiful voice, and he sounds so much like Barry it's uncanny. To me, Barry had the best voice out of the four, with his amazing vocal range and versatility, but they all had awesomely beautiful voices. Love them all♥️♥️♥️
@@TWariner I think so, too,. Although Andy's voice was very similar to Barry's voice, Barry had a wider vocal range and a much more powerful sounding voice.
When he sings like Barry he uses vibrato. When he sings like Robin he uses tremolo, which is a fluctuation in volume rather than a fluctuation in pitch like with vibrato. I always thought the tremolo sounded unnatural, but it seemed to work well for them.
Barry had said that Andy was HIS twin. Robin and Maurice had eachother, Barry had Andy. What a shame they couldn't be together longer. What beautiful music they could of added to their wonderful catalog.❤💐
I had a mega crush on Andy. I always thought he was the most handsome, and I loved "I Just Want to Be Your Everything." I remember being so heartbroken when he passed away so young. May he and his brothers rest in peace.

While Robin and Maurice were paternal twins, Barry thought of Andy as his twin. Same face, same voice. (Though I do see Maurice's eyes, and hear some of his voice, in Andy.)

Unbelievable every time I hear him sing this live; still mesmerized by the way he makes a song burst with creativity. Also, the way he holds notes is beyond compare. What a tragedy he passed on so young, but we always have his music to play again and again.

One of the best love songs of all time. Andy was just as talented as his brothers and this song proves it. So sad about the drugs and personal problems. Not at all unusual for artists.
I went to a concert of his with a friend younger sister, he won me over as a fan. My friend sister was madly in love with him. The last song he sung was everlasting love. My friend sister pulled me all the way up to the stage,she got a hold of his hand. Over all the screaming, I heard her yell my name, he knew she wanted someone to see him holding her hand. He held up their hands in the air for a good 15-20 seconds... At that point he had another fan. I cried when I heard he had die he was truly gone way to soon.

Andy sang that better than his brothers. He had an amazing voice. Always loved Andy. Listened to his bothers too. They were amazing too. R.I.P. Thats why I was always and will be in love with that beautiful man.

I was just a little girl when I fell in love, with the Bee Gees, Andy, included. I remember the announcement on his death. Then the other brothers followed. Only Barry, Is left. THE BEE GEES, ARE ONE OF THE THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL GROUP. There will NEVER be anyone like them.
His voice... it is something I remember from my deep childhood... so relaxing, so safe, so lovely... Thank God for his songs, and truly short life. Thank you, who love his voice with me.

Wow, thanks for posting this...never saw this performance before. What a beautiful rendition of "Words" by Andy! He looks so much like Barry here, especially with his little bit of scruff and singing his brothers' song. This really shows his vocal range and emotion. He would be 60 years old (3/5) had he lived. 30 years gone..and only Barry left standing of the brothers Gibb. Heartbreaking.
Saw a younger Barry on a clip before beard thought of Andy, splitting image. Tonight saw Andy with a bit of beard thought of Barry. They had the whole package. Love all 4 guys. Sad loss only Barry left what a career❤❤❤❤
I remember this performance. This is from 1981 and was a gala at Ford's Theatre. It was hosted by Jack Klugman and Victoria Principal. It featured Andy Gibb, David Copperfield, Lynda Carter, Johnny Cash and others that I can't remember. Then President Reagan and the First Lady attended as well as Vice President and Barbara Bush. A memorable program.
