For Andy, driving a 66-year-old truck isn't a hassle, it's an experience in itself. Watch the story of how Andy transformed his red Ford into his dream ride.
Very cool truck Andy! My first 4 wheeled vehicle was also 50 Ford F-1, loved that thing. I got it when I was 13 and my dad and I spent the next three years getting it ready for my 16th birthday. It had a 289 in it with a c6 trans and a Ford 9 inch with 4.11 gears. We modified the interior with bucket seats and a Hurst ratchet shifter, removed the vent windows and put in single glass power windows and an in dash CD player! LoL! It was 1989 after all. I kick myself for getting rid of it and would like to build another. Take care man!
Thanks for posting this... I have been watching it every day for the past month as I am putting mine together... it is the only disease that really makes you feel good...
Gorgeous truck. Really enjoyed your video. We have a 1948 model rebuilt for off-roading in Pakistan. Recently used it to rescue folks stranded after the rains in Karachi.
Ha, sounds like me when I was young too. I would sit in the back seat as a 5 year old naming the car models as they went past. I became a mechanic after finishing school. Great truck, it's got such a cool look about it. Love the stance. I wonder how it goes. My cars HAVE to be fast. My daily runs high 9's and I wouldn't have it any other way. About to start another project, I just can't help myself
I just put my eyes on a 51 ford just like yours that my neighbor is selling. I left him a message hopefully he will answer soon..it looks like it’s been sitting for a few years so that might be a good low price one to buy and fix up like yours
