Since the Scarborough Shoal and theSpratley Islands are included as part of the Philippine Territory by way of the 1900 Treaty of Washington, and as revealed and proven by the 1734 Murillo-Velarde Map, and the same claim is outside of the jurisdiction of the Permanent Court of Arbitration as it deals only with purely maritime issue and not with terrestrial issue, THERE MUST BE AN APPROPRIATE INTERNTIONAL COURT that has jurisdiction to which this matter could be brought, apparently not the UNGA since the UNGA is not a court. I hope the prominent legal minds of the likes of Justice Carpio will know about it, if any such a legal court for that matter exists!
I think you Filipinos should ask the Chinese president Xi Jinping to clarify his story of Zheng He's visits to your country. Ask him, when Zheng He met Philippine king, did he prostrate Zheng He. This prostration was reported in a Chinese history book 星槎勝覽。It said the Philippine (占城國) king first kowtowed Zheng He and then when close prostrated Zheng He. Later justice Carpio found the 占城國 was Vietnam. Even so, the question can be changed to ask the Chinese president: did the Vietnam king prostrated a Chinese eunuch named Zheng He. We know, a eunuch was a household servant. A Chinese household servant was sent to meet foreign kings. Was the Chinese trying to show something extraordinary?
