Unfortunately the episodes featuring RaeRae were originally going to be the start of Season 4 but Fox released them at the end of 3 because they were killing the show. As a result of this they technically don’t count as canon for the show.

Actually, according to Azrael, it was a false alarm...it happens. Sometimes things happen that you shouldn’t survive from only to walk away with a scratch. I was in an accident where my side of the car was flattened by a 22’ delivery truck. The other person in the car on the side that was mostly intact had broken ribs, arm, leg, punctured lung, and then some. My side was flattened to the point where I should’ve be crushed to death, decapitated at best. Either way it should have been a closed casket service. Instead I walked away with a black eye, 15 stitches, and a concussion with a touch of amnesia. I was told rescue thought nobody could have survived on my side of the car. As for the cause, I was told the delivery driver was running late and was trying to make up lost time. Don’t know what happened to him, my contacts aren’t that good.

We have followed Lucifer from Day one (that's season 1 episode 1) and we know that the Angels don't lie. If this series was to continue, I bet Lucifer would tell her. The ending of S03E25 was so touching, Azrael watching her two favorite people in the world.

well considering the only people who can see her are spirits and celestial beings... dead people probably talk to her far more often as she shepherds them to heaven or hell than anyone from the celestial realm. So being as Ella can see her, and shes not dead, a hint there might be something 'celestial' about Ella.

That's what you get for loving a series on Fox. It will always get cancelled and even if someone else picks it up, it will never be the same again. Still, let's be grateful for what we got, rather than mourning what could have been.

I really love that they used the angel of death that's recognized by both Wicca and the 3 great monotheistic faiths...and that the show, like all 4 faiths, doesn't portray her as scary, but as a comforting friend who comes at the end of life to relieve suffering and take you Home safely. Blessed be!
