This song makes me comfortable in times when I'm stressed or scared. I first started listening to Elvis on a cruise in 2019...There was an impersonator...I didn't wanna go at first. But when I listened to him, then got home and listened to the real man. I have never felt more happy. I am 14 years old and listen to Elvis Presley and I am proud to say that. Most kids listen to rap and styles way different than this. Sorry but those are my least favorite songs. I love these. If you don't listen to Elvis, you should start doing it. Because songs like these will help you through tuff times.

I'm an avid Elvis fan, but never heard this beautiful song and great work by the King before... Love it! This Man sang nothing but quality material and was an inspirational genious for that 'Feel good Music' that we all enjoy today! R.I.P.

He sang this song sitting in a chair on a porch in the movie, Follow That Dream. It was the last song sang in that movie. It was a pretty good movie. My kids and grandkids loved it when they were young. We watched it together and ate popcorn and drank chocolate shakes.

He explains how that lady got her to kiss him, and says what she did play by play, it was all her.... the smart lady that's asking says no, show me...... And he does, "Have you been practicing your timetables Toby? Uh-hmmm... but what worries me is what comes after the 12th -144, and she says me....". And they fall into this forever kiss...... The. Mold was broken as they say after Elvis. You'd think I was born in that era, I just found out there was an Elvis Presley a few yrs. ago. Muah 💋!!!
In some ways I envy you being able to freshly discover Elvis as so many of us who were around during his time did. Unfortunately you can't experience the thrill of growing up with him through those years that made him so iconic to us. I finally got to see him perform a couple years before his death and could not believe my own reaction (as a guy) to actually seeing him face to face. I guess it's wasn't all that different than seeing anyone else you've known from TV or at the movies up close but Elvis's rags to riches story seemed somehow to radiate from within him and it just made you feel great for this guy who had come so far in such a short time. I believe that aside from his looks and voice, his humor helped him more than anything. It's hard to watch him sing without chuckling over his moves or facial expressions. He clearly enjoyed entertaining and we in turn enjoyed being entertained all the more because of it. Even Michael Jackson wasn't in his league because Elvis was raw and natural in a way that made people marvel. I don't know if there'll ever be another like him but I hope so.
