Chicago Sky's Angel Reese, Chennedy Carter and Teresa Weatherspoon talk after June 3rd practice about the hard foul on Caitlin Clark in Saturday's loss to the Fever.
The media is using CC for the hype and drama. That’s why they introduced CC to bring in all the goods that the WNBA been asking for for YEARS. So they used CC knowing it was going to be a eye opener now look. CC is finding it hard to compete with the ladies that’s been playing for years. CC have to grow into the game like the other ladies did. ❤
They think they're marketing the WNBA by fanning these flames, but this isn't the reason anyone is watching the WNBA. Clark getting that hit is a sign of respect; classic "welcome to the league" stuff. Why not spin it like that, racist fucking reporters?
Why the shaderoom only had that clip of her saying people aren't only watching because of one person? I hate messy azz websites that promote negativity
It's like the black community that has eachothers backs until they have a different color then they murder eachother you are the problem with the world
Yes. Clearly, they were playing the "I gotcha" game! Looking for a salacious headline to keep the story going. If this was the NBA or did not involve Caitlin Clark, there would not be this much press about it. Media needs to keep the same energy when similar situations happen to other players. The media is not helping Caitlin.
No questions about Reese setting a new record in rebounds in franchise history. No questions about Kamillas debut and her impact on the team. No questions about Chennedy dropping 19 off the bench. No questions about the upcoming game. Everything just controversial. What happened to ethical journalism?
Right, that's what I peeped too. The media are trying their best to take these talented women off their game; trying to force some kind of lingering feud, hoping they will not be focused in future games. I am So Proud of how INTELLIGENTLY they answered the stupid questions. These interviews were only good because the ladies knew EXACTLY HOW to Answer ALL The questions. Good Work ladies
@@shamarial0ng I'm only interested in what she had to say regarding Caitlin. Otherwise, I couldn't care less about her basketball career or what she has to say.
Stats and Facts don't lie. Attendance at non-Caitlin Clark WNBA games this past weekend: 7,638 4,015 9,878 7,035 3,265 10,207 7,024 Attendance at Caitlin Clark WNBA games this past weekend: 17,274 17,401
since when is a random shoulder check before an in bound a part of basketball? She should've done it within the flow of the game and it wouldn't have looked like a dirty play.
I absolutely loved how Reese and Carter handled the media especially at the end!! The Sky has been taking SUPER physical off ball plays and they got back up and kept playing w/o the media blowing out of proportion. This Sky team has grit and WILL GO FAR 🎉
Caitlin. White. Clark and Reese. Black. Black=Thug. They're searching for racist agendas when CLEARLY, they're getting straight answers today. But nothing said matters. Thugs.
I love this set the record straight no one is special in the why only one player should be pamper play hard or go home love Kennedy love angel let them know play hard or go home don't pick and choose who to touch go sky go sky angel will be the Rookie with wnba title ❤❤❤
Really? NBA stars are pampered on each team by their owners. Some are flown around in private jets others have personal massages in the tape rooms. Special players get special treatment in all sports lol.
I cannot express how happy I am that Chennedy and Angel are in Chicago with Spoon as their coach. They’re experiencing some very specific energy and attention that few coaches can help them through. Glad they have each other’s backs.
If I get on line and say I love Angel Reese some CC fan is going to comment how she is better, you can't even mention one without the other, Give them both that credit cause they name is in everyone mouth, Angel Reese is speaking facts.
Yeah, but it was the afterthought that made the shove stick out. I just wish they would just stop focusing on Caitlyn. She’s a great player! They all are so the fighting is uncalled for
@@msa6844it was an afterthought for you but she said it was in the heat of the moment. She had just got punched in the face. CC plays dirty but she is sneaky. That’s the difference. They watching everyone else but not watching her..
Good interview with players, BUT T-SPOON WAS WONDERFUL! Her clarity of insight & ENTHUSIASM for the game are literally heartwarming. The more I hear her talk, the more I like her! GO COACH❤🔥🏀🏀🏃➡️✨️
All of this questioning over a bump in a game.🙄 This is just ridiculous. Glad these girls are tough, cause soft girls will have a very LONNNGGGG season ahead of them.
@@jonhohensee3258Get a life white punk. You’re under everyone’s comments. These girls are doing more in their life than you could ever dream of. §tfu and keep watching or don’t 🤷🏾♂️
JJ pushed Angel Reese down and got a regular foul it wasn’t flagrant but since Caitlyn is yt it was blown out of proportion with Chennedy! It’s very clear the bias!
Angel got hit by Thomas and got ejected. It took an entire day for this clear flagrant 1 and “no ejection” to be called so yes it’s biased, but you have the roles reversed
@@stevensmith7538 it wasn’t a flagrant one! Go and look at the foul on Angel Reese from JJ! She didn’t get a flagrant and it’s the exact same foul! This foul was clearly upgraded because Clark is soft and white!
Clear people were mad. They didn't have all this media attention when Reese got chopped in the throat and head bounced on the ground. Reese took it like part of the game and kept it moving. Didn't cry like a little baby. Clearly it's about race in the clear people's minds.
@@l.o.t.slegend1467the play on Caitlin wasn't dirty. It's Caitlins responsibility to keep her eyes moving and use an athletic stance. It's a physical game players get bumped all the time. It's Caitlin's fault that she fell on the ground.
After the watching this interview! I find the whole thing extremely disturbing. They literally asked the same question about the same person for nearly 20 minutes. This is a problem for the league. Someone needs to speak up and stop the madness. Why were these women subjected to suggest demeaning & insufferable questioning by the media who clearly was pushing an agenda?! This whole piece lacks journalistic integrity and taints the profession of journalism. It’s disgusting!
Why are these players above criticism? Very obvious what is happening here. They can't stand that a straight white woman is the most popular player in the WNBA or that she has the most lucrative endorsement deals. This is just petty jealousy and envy.
@@King_Mac80 Earnestedly. Reese was very smartly/intuitively strategic in gaining her fame. However she did not calculate that playing the role of the villainess was one she could not completely control. While she thought she could define it, some of her words/actions crossed into areas that can inflame a myriad of reactions (about sex, violence, team roles, more...) If delusional is too strong of a word, then miscalculating applies. The toxicity comes in how her villainess plays become an example for young girls (the last thing we need is more youth exposed to the WAP or ''ride or die'' violent fronting of women in sports). The destructive element comes in when openly condoning these elements. - Just this week excusing violence against herself and Clark (and others). This is not only destructive towards women in sports, but also towards women's basketball at large - as the level of violence in women's basketball drives away the majority of (potential) fans. Note: I support Reese and wish her the best. I wish she'd had better mentors. SHe gained a lot but missed the most. If she had (or found now) mentors who guided her better, she could have reached out to form competive friendship with Clark. They could do mutual endorsements - sharing a theme of inspiring girls together - building charities together. He fame would be 10 fold, equating to Bird and Magic actually, and on a much happier life narrative than one that leaves her crying at the podium, having to defend herself against lecherous people, or aligning with players who wear violence on the court as a badge of honor.
Strong black woman? On a bb court- you think skin color matters? Racist! You don’t sound very DEI cultist to me! Oh, I see. DEI only works if it’s for blacks. Got it! ✅ Y’all are clowns.
Reese is right about everything she expressed!!! Where is the outrage for that non basketball viscous play by AT? I’ve been saying that. I’m proud of her and the Sky as a whole! Chennedy shake it off. They won’t show the elbow you took from Caitlin. Stop calling that play with Reese a foul. She flopped on a box out. That non call was correct. Stop explaining. It’s all good. Use this to come together now. Wear it as a chip on your shoulder in every game moving forward. Protect each other. Geaux Sky!!!
@@BloodLeopard-rm8wgOh thank you I’m glad someone finally called CC a thug. I mean she is hella violent and cusses out refs when she doesn’t get her way. Did you see when she shove that girl to ground? She is classless. She plays dirty and elbows people. She is just a sneaky 🐍 and then plays the victim.
@@BloodLeopard-rm8wg she has plenty of fans. Was voted rookie of the week the first week BY FANS... The same ways you don't care about Reese we don't care about you and your racist remarks
It’s amazing how the media just pick & choose what they want to point out but won’t point out the entire situation, I watched that game & Catlin did some physical plays herself previous but no one wants to point her actions out, when you dish it be prepared to receive it as well!!!! Even in College games she did physical plays, but when Reese got closed line no one was saying anything too much, both are great players & changed the College & WNBA platforms, stop with the division!!!! America has enough of that already right now!!!!💯
Tell CC to get in the weight room and stop crying.. this is not highschool or college this is the big league.. shit is tough and physical.. get with it or get gone.. and the media making this shit worse than it is
No one is gonna watch a 20 minute video of these jealous girls yapping when all we want to know is why she cheap shotted the only player anyone cares about
I feel the Sky vs Fever game was rigged so Caitlyn could get her revenge on Kamilla and Angel since took away her fairy tale ending by not being on a good enough team for a NCAA Championship.
I agree that the sky have some great players, but it’s not cheap shot carter or clapping reese. To be a great player that’s what reese wants to be. You must learn to be humble. Standing up and cheering your thug teammate won’t get her there.
I’m glad that she confirmed that she was hit on the head by Caitlin on the previous play. They were going back and forth (you can see Caitlin yelling and talking trash about it) and she just got caught up in the heat of the moment. She said that once the game is over then it’s over.
All of the haters in the comments are delusional😂😂😂 Chennedy Carter is a great player. Caitlin was pushing females down for no reason in college. Karma doesn’t miss.
@@MrSoulauctioneer you guys are soft that’s why we beat you at everything! We are just better! A hip check isn’t nowhere near close to the close line Angel experienced but there was no babying or outrage! Suck it up! You new insufferable fans is who has the target on her back! @@MrSoulauctioneertoughen up! The pros are physical just like the vets been said! This ain’t the weak big10! It will not get any easier for her! You new insufferable fans is who put the target on her back now deal with it
They forced Angel to do this interview after they fined her 😡 they're literally forcing her to talk about this. Yes they don't want to acknowledge how Caitlin was acting a complete clown on the field elbowing Carter in the face pushing off on her constantly and taunting her all throughout the process afterwards....
Some of us were, just Thomas got ejected is the difference. Thomas' was worse (possible injury), but both were flagrant. I do think there was a difference of intent, I still don't believe Thomas meant to toss her on her head, but she meant to knock her down.
I am So Proud of how INTELLIGENTLY they answered the stupid questions. These interviews were only good because the ladies knew EXACTLY HOW to Answer ALL The questions. Good Work ladies
Oh trust me I saw it I saw the elbow I saw her pushing off on her constantly and I saw Caitlin constantly taunt her.... The WNBA saw it too but she's a Mary Sue who needs to be protected.... Look at how she flopped when Angel moved her arm, she needs some milk bad🍼
