I've literally watched you drive tons of miles in that old Ford. Nice to see, but it have to ask. How does it do for heat? I mean the rad and engine temp?
Heat is rarely a problem as far as coolant temperature. Have only spurted a little water out on a very long steep hill climb going very slowly in low gear. The bigger problem was the modern fuels, particularly those with alcohol in them. Using them the car was plagued with vapor lock in any kind of heat until I installed a backup electric fuel pump back by the gas tank to switch on when the fuel in the stock mechanical fuel pump vaporized and quit pumping. That is a very typical solution to the vapor lock problem.
