Craig's comments were honestly horrible. This was amazing, and Carlos did NOT run out of ideas at the end! When I saw the ending I actually thought it was quite creative. It perfectly follows the storyline of two people who love each others company and feel joyful and carefree. Angela is gorgeously graceful. It's a 10 from me.
That was my favourite dance of the night. I don’t know anything about ballroom technique, but to me it looked light as a feather and was utterly charming. I think Angela is the best storyteller this year
i loved this and think the judges are being far too harsh on angela compared to others who clearly made more mistakes :/ voted for her and hope she isn’t in the dance off as I think she has more to offer and i love her and carlos as a pairing
i agree with you!! if you watch the film 'ghost' patrick swayze uses that word when he is telling whoopi goldberg to say the word to demi moore to convince her of swayze's presence!!!@@killermcmurderer6707
I really enjoyed this dance! I love Angela S and Carlos and although it wasn't their best dance so far, I still love them and think they did a great job! ❤😊
No Craig, what nonsense. Are you in a separate world or something??? What you going on about- 😐. She was very good and the set for it was very creative. She was undermarked. This suits her personality very well and it was a lot of fun! Very good Angela! Don’t let the devil horwood put you down, I believe in you! All in all a great performance!
The choreography for me is what let this down he could've done alot more throughout rather than just at the end when he made them run about but she did well with what she was given, I would have also liked some more out there lifts like Zara gave us 6/10
our scores: me: 8 diya: 8 kelsey: 8 owen: 8 32/40 most undermarked of the night. this suits her personality so well, i really enjoyed this. in hold yes it was quite tense, but this was by no means one of the worst of the night. love her and hope people keep voting for her.
loving the song choices throughout this episode. wish there was a way for us non British folks to see the show in full when we TRY to get a life these saturday nights lol :O
@@TigerPrawn_could you provide an example . I think you will struggle since it's a BBC programme meaning it is not available on other non UK sites. We do not get BBC I player or britbox.
I expect you are a lot younger than me. I have never heard a lot of the music choices this year and it does affect how I see the dance. I expect you have the same feeling when they choose older songs. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to see the whole programme as it’s covered by the BBC licence fee which everyone who watches live broadcasts in the UK has to pay. I don’t know if it will appear on Britbox after the series finishes, I doubt it. People have the same issues with other programmes like The Great British Sewing Bee. The irony is that there is an orchestrated attack on the BBC from within the UK and yet all around the world it is revered for its quality of programmes. Enjoy what you can.❤
@@macsmiffy2197yes, my response was about the fool above who just wanted to sound self righteous whereas I do not respect the BBC as an organisation, but even if I did the content would be unavailable elsewhere.
This was effortless. But I did notice them wasting time at the end. It probably cost marks. I'm still confident they will do well in this series. Have a good day reader
Craig needs his eyesight or moral code tested, he lied on camera to wound Angelas confidence (saying she wasnt graceful!)and set her up for the dance off. Angela is one of the most lyrically graceful dancers Ive ever seen. Then the BBC let the shot stay on Angela and Carlos when they said "a couple will be going home this week", see if Im right Angela is set up for the dance off, possibly to get rid of Eddie& Karen. (You know the UK...no blacks no Irish.. shall reach the final) I remember how badly Strictly treated Tristan McManus an Irish pro dancer who was great on Dancing with the Stars USA, vicious comments, undermarking, under coverage , spiteful tabloid coverage of his loyal partners etc etc
@@rosepetal34 My prediction of Eddie going was correct despite a dance off against somebody whose feet spent little time on the floor she was carried so much. Re Hamza - he was not only undeniably talented but he fronts the BBC nature programs and BBC corporate needed the marketing opportunity.(as in the case of the only other black man to win strictly) Over time, the exception proves the rule.
Yep and this comment just reminds me I regret watching any of that edition of I'm a celebrity Andrew Maxwell was on. He was blatantly verbally abused and intimidated by two British contestants , that girl with just a little acting talent who won and that creature Ian Wright
Now I will be honest this is a dance I do like and the thing is it was good. But I will be honest there were moments when I wanted it to be flashier than what it was. That being said I know that is wrong to compare that to my ideal American Smooth as this was good. I will say I think the only criticism was there seemed to be a bit of a dance in parts at times (In other words it felt like the dance was a bit like it was cut into sections and as such it wasn't as good as it should have been). But to be fair it was good and like others are saying I do think the judges may be being a bit too harsh on her ballroom in comparison to others. 7.
it was a good dance but not a very good dance!! however, i think angela scanlon is the best dancer on the show! the judges are playing games with her marks to get people to vote for her! she will probably be in a dance of in the coming weeks but won't be voted off!!! in my opinion!
Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu Next dancing the American Smooth. I felt this dance was to fast, it needed to be softer and a lot less rushed but on the plus side Angela's acting has got much better, not my favourite dance Angela and Carlos have done but they did it okey.
I still think that some of the music choices - not chosen by the professionals nor celebrities - have made it difficult for the dances to be choreographed, thus one included.
My Score: 6 Worried for Ángela this week - some lovely storytelling but technique lacked and I agree with Craig it felt like it ran out of ideas becoming repetitive. Eeeek…
6/10 For me this lacked effort and it was time wasting because I had felt like they had ran out of ideas, the choreography wasn’t amazing, and the run at the end is what ruined the dance for me sadly, for me not her best dance today
Score - *7/10* I expected more, Angela really needs to work on her Ballroom, it was very plonky and didn't look very elegant also she looked awkward in hold, however in comparison with Zara's tonight she was alot better with lifts but Angela has much better glide, travel around the floor and expression so they sort of round up to each other. The lift wasn't great and was pretty uneventful, I love Angela's personality and her energy but asides from maybe a Quickstep, I don't think she will be delivering high scoring Ballroom anytime, also as much as Carlos is amazing, I don't think he's the best Ballroom choreographer.
