The remaining members of the legendary band Queen liked this performance so much that they posted it on their official social media account with the comment " Wow , what a rendition "! They also gave her the right to copywrite her version of the song ! That's very high praise from one of the greatest bands ever .
Btw - another great follow up to Angelina's AGT audition would be her 2nd AGT performance - the Elton John classic "Yellow Brick Road". And if you listen closely to the lyrics you will hear Angelina foretelling of the outcome of the "competition". My understanding is that in Angelina's case, AGT pursued her & her family to be on their "champions" show for quite awhile. Angelina's family finally agreed, but only so long as they did NOT have to sign the standard contract with AGT/Simon. Anyway - with Yellow Brick Road Angelina turns in another stellar performance. Awesome reaction and she recorded a Demo when she was 10, but was never released for controversy reasons. However it got leaked before the writer of the song released his version. In my book that makes it an Original to me, others disagree, their option. The song is "I'm Still Holding Out For You", a gem that will literally blow your mind os some would say break your brain, remember she is 10, God Bless!

This was my introduction to Angelina nearly 4 years ago and probably the most significant musical moment in my life, I was shocked and have not spent a day since without watching one of her many videos, so many favourites. Lovely reaction and so pleased you have done it!
Now you know why we wanted you to watch this. At 13, live in front of a national TV audience, with her own arrangement of an untouchable, iconic song. While some singers might get nervous in that situation, Angelina becomes a stone cold killer. She is completely comfortable, no tension, no nerves. Angelina is a very rare performer who is humble, but who has confidence in her talents. This is my favorite live performance of any singer. I’ve watched it hundreds of times, and I still feel the emotion every time. A suggestion for your next song is I’m Still Holding Out for You, a studio recording when Angelina was 10. Although we’re used to what Angelina can do, this song seems completely impossible for a 10 year old. It’s not describable-just listen to the best child singer ever. Red, this was my introduction to AJ on January 6, 2020. I was so blown away, i immediately started checking out everything Angelina. I listen to her everyday. This performance remains my number 1 performance by Angelina to this day. The way see sings "too late" brings goosebumps every time. I like all other versions of this song that she has done (including her performance in Portsmouth), but this one has a special place in my heart. Love your Angelina reactions!

What she does with this Freddie Mercury masterpiece is simply magical. To have the confidence to start this 'a'capella', in a venue like this is truly mind boggling. Have never seen one iota of fear in this girl, ever.
Not only did Angelina get the golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, but she also received huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. Queen were delighted with Angelina's arrangement and shared it on Twitter with the words "WOW, what a rendition" (three years later they repeated their praise on TT in March 27th 2023 with the words "absolutely killed it".) Red, I know as soon this video was over you got out of your chair and took a little walk to no particular place. You had to clear your head a little because of what you just heard. Her version sung so beautifully will be something which will never be forgotten. The expression "in stunned disbelief" is very appropriate, isn't it? However, considering it was Angelina who was the vocalist and arranger of the song, anything is possible!!!
I don't think I have any superlatives left to describe her. I wonder if she does any other Queen songs? As for Simon, smarmy is always the word that comes to my mind for him.

Thank you so much. The last video comments were continually being turned off. I manually turned them on three times. I finally gave up. That happened one other time. However, that time I was able to manually turn them in and they stayed on.

While not included in this particular video clip, Heidi Klum did give Angelina the golden buzzer. Interesting to note that they became good friends - & still are to this day. In fact - earlier this year Heidi invited Angelina to perform at GNTM (Germany's Next Top Model) & Angelina delivered an amazing performance of the Amy Winehouse classic - Valerie. She had only 90 seconds to perform here. Later performances don't have that limit, so she adds even more ornamentation. As Simon said the simplicity of this arrangement is what makes it so unique, thus her adding to it makes it somehow less authentic to we purists.
@tomrogers You stated that perfectly. I can’t decide if I like younger Angelina or today’s better. I love both, of course, but since I’m old, many of my favorite performances are her earlier, simpler covers where we get more of her straight beautiful voice-as opposed to more vocal ornamentation and dynamics as we see now. But for me, this Bohemian Rhapsody we just watched is my favorite live performance of anyone at anytime.
