I think ur format was really good, having done some upfront research and while many channels say it detracts from the reaction, I didn't see that with u. Loved ur comment about poise and confidence and yet being humble. That is unique in a world of showing off and not respecting the songs. U will need to indulge in ~200 more performances to see that she is like this with everything. Many will mistake her minimal belting as being unable, whereas nothing could be further from the truth. I think we have all been accustomed to expect just that, particularly in competition, where the highest, most powerful belt is the best singer? As for what to check out next, there will be many suggestions, chronological is the most favoured? However, 17YO Angie has recently released her 6 song EP and I would encourage u to at least stream it, if u chose to react to her older material. She needs all the attention rn and I don't see other emerging artists promoting something they did a decade ago, not that many can equal what Angie has uploaded to YT, Insta and TikTok.

This Artist is as different as you can get. We literally get to see a generational talent develope. You will hear what seems like hyperbole from her fans and its not until you have seen a sizeable chunk of her back catalogue do you understand its not exaggeration. The first clip of her singing with a mike is at 28 months old. Baby Angelina sings her head goes back an arm goes out and its baby diva. For the first time I reconsidered reincarnation. As she grew up she perfected her control by singing all the greats. Her musical self education is next to none, and it's shocking. Whether its testing her lowest range by singing HOW GREAT THOU ART in the same key as Elvis. Killing Adele Covers at all ages. She is above all a vocal artist. She is never about showing off. She strips it down to what is needed to give the emotion and lyrics life. So you can only see all her skills by covering her back catalogue. Admired by fellow vocalists and musicians she is a child prodigy who is 17 now but continues to get better every year.

I must say that you're observations on Angelina were absolutely spot on. Even at the points where you weren't sure whether you were accurate, you were. You perceived her talent down to the letter as far as some of her influences, and her ability as an artist, and a singer. Bravo my friend, good job. I'm sure the other fans who have responded let you know that she did win the golden buzzer on this particular performance, though she did not win the show. In a way though she did win because out of the show came her record deal with Republic. Angelina was 6 years old when she met the girl in the Middle East who was barefoot with scars on her feet, and using a simple bathroom scale to weigh people for money. Angelina and the little girl, who was about Angelina's age at the time, which was six. Seeing that the girl did not have shoes on Angelina took off her favorite boots, and gave them to the little girl. To have a heart like that as a young child is truly phenomenal. She had already shown herself to be a magnificent person, let alone, being a magnificent young singer. I've been listening to her every day for over three and a half years now, and she's the most talented, most inspiring performer I've ever seen. Also, AGT had been approaching Angelina Jordan’s management team for several years because they wanted to increase their ratings as they wanted Angelina Jordan on AGT Champions. You’ve obviously looked her up through Wikipedia, and it was obvious that she was already famous in her own right, just not here in the US. Anyway, her team agreed to have her on, but they signed a simple contract with, I’m sure, a termination of convenience written in it because, after Bohemian Rhapsody, things didn’t work out with Simon and his attorneys, and she ended up placing 6th. Yeah, I can't even name the top 5 acts. I really don’t watch AGT anymore because I know they don’t go by the people's votes here in the US after I started following Angelina Jordan on RU-vid, and I really did a deep rabbit hole dive and did a lot of reading, and it’s unfortunate that people in the US live in a bubble. AGT is an entertainment show, but it's just not entertaining for me anymore.

Angelina is so talented. If you are going to take a deeper dive, I suggest starting when she was 7 on Norway's Got Talent and go forward in time to see her progression. A must hear is “I Put A Spell On You” when she was 9 years old. Her latest songs from her new EP are amazing.

Most of the singers who have inspired Angelina were exponents of Jazz and Blues who enjoyed their peak popularity even before her grandmother was born. She was pre-school when she began taking an interest in her grandma's Jazz music collection and would click on RU-vid thumbnails of singers she recognised and RU-vid recommendations arising from those videos. Thus her singing style has always evoked the golden era of Jazz even when she has explored other genres. The most recent song she covered on her way to winning Norway's Got Talent was first recorded in the 1960s. There is no evidence she is a particular admirer of Christina Aguileira, although they both could well have been influenced by similar music.

Yes, she did get the golden buzzer..You really need to listen to all her songs ...start when shes 6 yrs old :or so...She san"g I put a spell on you...and on up in age... she certainly can do the runs.. she doesnt normaly do them as much....she knew that the Agt judges love hearing runs..so she included them into her singing... for AGT and you should hear her sing "Summertime"....at *about age 10 -11, * esp near to end of song

You are right, M. Angelina is and has always been very confident and comfortable on stage, and at the same time very humble. That's a rare combination but is natural to her. She never rushes a song and never sings to show off her talents....it's all about the song with her.

Very nice reaction. Born in Norway she has lived in LA since she 12. Although at about 6 Angelina did a recording of Christina Aguilera’s Hurt, I don’t know if she’s ever cited her as one of her main influences. Her biggest early influence was Billie Holiday as well as other early jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald. She has covered many artists of the past as well as contemporary artists. She also records her own music and two months ago released a 6 song EP called Old Enough. All 6 songs are originals and all bangers. After winning Norway’s Got Talent her family wanted to make sure she had as normal a childhood as possible so they turned down many offers from record and entertainment companies. When she signed with a Republic Records at 14 the agreement was that she would have full creative control and not be fully promoted until she and her family felt the time was right. She has now graduated from high school and is starting to go full force with her career. Last Friday she had a concert in New Hampshire. It was her first headlining performance in the U.S.

I just hope you continue to check out her complete catalog. She’s amazing past belief. She seems way past her age like she’s lived that particular song, and she’s that way with every song you get the essence of the artist that originated it, but she truly puts her own twist on her music.
