With apologies to the Norwegians and Swedes, we Asians (Japanese and Persians) hereby claim Angelina Jordan as our entry into the Music Olympics. With jet lag (coming back from Jordan) and a slight cold she still nailed this song! You could see how the audience came alive and started to take pictures and videos with their phones as the iconic notes of Angelina singing Bohemian Rhapsody filled the room.

as a very long time fan, i have wondered whether she would build the presence to command very large audiences -- a single woman in front of a mic, like Celine or Barbra Streisand or Whitney or Ella -- the historic singers. But I am floored because in this performance at 17 she is showing that she is surpassing them. You can see that she was loving every moment of dominating the stage. The AJ story is no longer just an interesting story about a girl who sings very well. It is now a phenomenon.

At 1:43 in the video the woman with the red dress is overwhelmed and can't believe what she is hearing, then check out the expression on the face to the woman on the left of the screen at around 3:08 of the video, she is blown away by AJ's abilities to make one feel each word of this iconic song like you never have before. Angelina's style of singing is just too underwhelming and iis too soft for songs sung by the mighty Freddie mercury. She only has 1.8 billion views in total. Actually she attended the gala right after they went back from the middle east trip. I suspect she still got some jetlag here. But wow...if jetlag produces that kind of sound then I advise most singers to find a way to have some jetlag before they perform.☺️

She caught a bad cold that night and yet still put out quite a performance like a warrior. Several high notes are rendered artistically which to her are neither normally a challenge nor necessity to be great.

Wow, wow. wow! From my understanding, she just got back from her trip in the Middle East when she attended the event. She may have been suffering from a bit of jet lag and just being a bit tired for her performances here. Still, like a pro, she performed both songs very well and the audience was in to it. The only negative about these performances to me were that the band could have been better and the sound to her mic or to this video could have been balanced/cleaned a bit better. Comparing it to the smartphone video clips that was released here on RU-vid by someone at the event, the sound on that video was a bit better. I guess I'm just nitpicking very little things. Man, I wished I was there to hear her! This is going to be a big year for Angelina! 😀😀😀

AJ makes one feel her words and sounds. In the past we may have felt a similar sensation with maybe one song from as artist, but AJ encompasses the ability to conjure up this sensation with every performance. I'm not sure when they arrived but this event is actually almost right after the family is confirmed home thru their IG stories. I guess it's like more or less a day in between.

every 100 years odin sends a soul into a person so that he appears to us as an angel, in this century it was on January 10, 2006. you can see what comes out of it here with the 17-year-old angelina jordan, by far the best singer in the world. others speak of a natural wonder of the world. no matter how you describe it. no matter what she sings, i get goose bumps, and then I I have tears in my eyes with happiness to hear something like that.

I have gone to many Japanese Community events where they have a guest singer as entertainment. Many in the audience probably never heard of her. They didn't attend to hear her or even heard of her and were reserved in their showing of appreciation. I am sure she gained some new fans. Republic perhaps booked her. I wondered why she doesn't have concerts like at the Hollywood Bowl. With more exposure, perhaps she will - soon I hope..

Spectacular performance!! I think many people in the audience fell under her spell. She's slowly becoming known in the music/Hollywood crowd leading up to her album release in a few months.

I actually saw one woman at the very end not even clapping 👏🏼 I was shocked maybe she was in shock or maybe she was drunk 🥴 I don’t know but Angelina did beautifully, as usual,..What a talented worldwide singer for our future. magnificent🤩💐

I saw that. The audience are dull Asians who don't know Angelina. If they did and were younger, they would all be standing and swaying. Hehe
