yes this was her best, but just when you don't think she could top this she comes out with My Funny Valentine.... You might want to check it out, it s her most current cover, and in my opinion her best.... until her next one :0)
There are two things that really stand out to me about Angelina recently. One is that over the last two years she has gotten phenomenally better. I don't know what the catalysis is that's responsible for this but it is really amazing because if you asked me back when she was on AGT, I would say she was so good that one could only expect marginal improvements because she was already so good. The second thing is that she is putting out performances that are so radically different using such a different set of techniques, tone, and texture that someone not already familiar with her wouldn't think they were the same person. Just compare some of her most recent covers such as "Easy on Me," "Billy Jean," and "My Funny Valentine." They are each amazing and so different. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. Producers generally don't like this, it makes a singer harder to market because when a singer produces a hit song then the record label wants more of what has already been shown to be successful and sees different as a huge risk. I've heard many singers complain that they aren't allowed to make the music they want to for purely marketing reasons. I hope that as Angelina gains more mainstream attention that she continues to have her artistic freedom because I love all the very different ways she chooses to express the emotion in different songs.

Great reaction and if you listen closely you hear somewhat the Artist's Voice of the song she is covering. She also did, "Heal The World", by Michael Jackson and has 5 originals. They are as follows; "What Is Life", "Oslo", "Shield", "Million Miles" and "7th Heaven". Hello Buddy! Awesome reaction :-) And I agree, there are similarities in their voices for sure. I think part of the reason Angelina didn't change this one up too much is 1) Adele is her biggest contemporary idol and 2) that Angelina released this cover merely A FEW DAYS after Adele released her album. That's my 5 cents at least. Be aware that her cover of "Billie Jean" is a JAZZY one. MJ in a jazzy version, who other than Angelina would have had the musical understanding, the self confidence and guts to touch a classic up that way ? Totally crazy, and it shows off her abilities perfectly. But, since is it still smoking hot and totally fresh, I personally would have loved if you would check something else out first. One week ago, on Valentine's Day, she released a new cover of "My Funny Valentine", the 1937 jazz standard that has been covered by SO many artists (Ella Fitzgerald and Frankk Sinatra to name a few) and has been included in 1300+ albums through the years. She also covered the song at age 10, but now at 16 (as of January 10th) we're talking a whole different ball game tbh. It is just out of this world beautiful, no kidding. It's the perfect way of brushing up on Angelina and see what she looks like and sounds like as of right now. By all means, do her Billie Jean. Don't worry, she doesn't try to cover the King of Pop, she is the Queen of Jazz, so she is just showing Michael (& us) how she can transform his song into a future Jazz Standard. When you do react to her 5th original song, 7th Heaven, I recommend that you use the "Live in Studio" version, as she is always best live. The same goes (live) for her earlier original song, Million Miles, which she wrote for anyone who has lost a loved one (in her case her grandpa).
Very honest and enjoyable reaction. I want to make a point that will help you to better understand Angelina. If you are not aware, she is known fondly as the barefoot princess of 1,000 voices. Obviously that is an exaggeration, but it is also factual. Angelina has the unworldly ability to adjust the style, tone, register, and even accent of her voice to adapt to any song or artist she is singing. She has dozens of influences that make her who she is. These include adele, Amy winehouse, Billie holiday, Etta james, Elvis Presley, and many more. So when you say you heard a little bit of Adele in her voice, she is definitely not mimicking Adele. But she has adjusted Her style to give a little bit of an Adele vibe at times. But if she was singing in Amy Winehouse song you would probably hear a little bit of an Amy vibe. This is totally unique in a vocalist and it's what makes Angelina special.
We angels continue to go easy on Angelina and her family, allowing them all the time they feel they need before allowing Republic Records to fully promote her. Just like a fine wine, it is best to let it age to reach it's full potential. BizMatik, please provide links to the original song and Angelina's Official and Cover Channel in the description. One other thing I failed to mention Andy is that not only can the reactor verbally encourage their viewers to like comment and subscribe to the original video and official Channel, but they can also use another tool. Being a non-jazz singer, Adele is not able to reach the depths of the human soul that this reigning Queen Of Jazz accomplishes here. She gives us the rue essence of Adele, as well as the breathy, sensual responses that Billie was known for on one end of the jazz spectrum, then brings in the inflections of the most uniquely different jazz singer of all time, Ms. Amy Winehouse. Amy was the one who truly redefined the genre with 'slurring' words for natural effect, as well as radically changing 'key' in mid-sentence. This song gives the listener the feeling that they are experiencing 4 superstar singers in one song. Have never heard another singer accomplish this form of intricate complexity.
When she covers an artist she usually takes over mannerisms of the original artist and also adds a lot of her own voice and her own lines. So yes, she does sound a little like Adele her nothing terrible there :-) She also sounds like Michael Jackson when she covers Heal the world. At times she really reinvents songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Billy Jean and I put a spell on you. She has number of orginals: 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Shield, Oslo and What is life. Song for A is also an original with lyrics by someone else. Above the water is a collaboration with TRXD and also an original. The order to follow…. you should pick what you like: honest, enthusiastic reaction are what I like best :-)
You do NOT have to listen to all the covers before hearing an original!!! PLEASE! it would take forever! That's nonsense. See Billie Jean then go see 7th Heaven, it's Jazzy and fun .. and it's always so good to hear her original songs and support her. Million Miles is also wonderful, yet quite different. It was written by her after her grandfather died .. she loved him dearly. I always recommend the live studio videos of her originals .. Another one that I really really like is Shield .. the one I've seen and liked a lot was done on a stage in front of an audience .. producers maybe .. don't really know. I think of it as a prayer and quite powerful .. I like it a lot. Oslo is beautiful and What is Life was her first, I believe .. it's a young and yet quite thoughtful view of life. I cannot even conceive why someone would think to tell you to do the 130+ covers before listening to her own songs .. a joke, perhaps. Whatever you do, I hope you continue to share it with us. I think that Adele should retire from singing and just write songs for Angelina. The Barefoot Princess always seems to improve upon the songs that she covers with her superb vocals and ability to bring out the emotion better than Adele herself!

Is now more actual than ever to spread this words of peace. It's the final performance in the The Voice Kids Ukraine 4th season 2017. She barely keeps tears at bay when she sings and is really shaken during the final comments as the spectators and the judges. There are Russian subtitles (don't select the auto-generated one) and the auto translation to english works well.
