omg!! for this great young talent to sing who I think has the most iconic female voice of all time in whitney Houston and do it so much justice is so imaging. she is a diamond in the ruff.
Angelina is so talented in so many ways!! I just hope she remains true to herself and doesn’t get into drugs and alcohol. God gave her a beautiful voice!!!
Angelina seems to often pay respects (quite well) to the original writer of a song she is performing, Dolly Partin in this case, and I think that is a part of how it is different from Whitney's version. Dolly wrote the song to Porter Wagner in 1973 to explain leaving his television show after being his partner on the show for five years. As usual, she also adds her own flavor and interpretation, beautifully as usual. Angelina is like a SpaceX rocket. One iteration after another until it flies perfectly. Myself, I like to hear the rehearsal because it demonstrates how much work she really puts into a song. One nuance after another until you get her version of perfection. Here it looks like she is just working out of her home studio as she frequently does.

I have only watched you a few times and you are already one of my favorite reactors you pay true respect to Angelina as. she is without a doubt in a league of her she pays much respect to the artists she covers by doing her own arrangements but as usual she out shines them. At just 11 years old, she is taking a classic Whitney (/Dolly) song and making arrangement choices that make it uniquely "Angelina". It's amazing that I can even say "uniquely Angelina" about an 11 year old. I've got boots older than that. She did a few different songs in this session, and this one went unreleased for over 2 years... and was never even put on her cover channel. @@RustyShacklefordChannel To day in the news they told that it will happen. It start 25 Juni and only with norwegian singers. It will be gatered 10 grups of publik ( familes who can sit together ) so 10 familie grups ( about 50 persons ). I dont know who is gona sing but all the best singers in Norway are free. I dont know if Angelina can or want to be part of it.

As you say, she made it a smooth, beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful song. Angelina has a life long relationship with this song as she is filmed singing it at age 1.5! My understanding is that Whitney Houston has been a great inspiration for Angelina since the get go. Thanks for reacting to this song by Angelina, few reactors pick up this one, but I love it! Also thanks for Next Chapter, I think it is a solid album. My favorites for now are Alone and Blessings, they get across to me as personal and touching.
I've seen the video and it is amazing. One and a half? I don't remember anything from that age but that was 73+ years ago. I do have a record recording made when I was three. It goes something like this ".... what do you want to do? I want to go ride the horsey".

You forgot the part on that song where she's sitting with some older people on the stage they're asking her about all her accomplishments and they switch from one language to English and the guy on the stage asked her if there was ever a time that she doesn't feel like she's 12 years old meaning she was 12 at the time that she sang this probably 11 years old when she wrote it when he asked her if she ever felt like she was 12 she immediately with a very straight face said when I look at my passport this girl is 25 or 30 years ahead of her age Easley
Not really a rehearsal. She has recorded dozens of covers in her home studios just for her fans. But she seems to use these to try out different settings, technologies, and interpretations. Whatever. They are all one take, unedited little bites of perfection.
I suppose it is kind of a rehearsal. Looks like she's at Egil's place rehearsing and trying out new songs for some upcoming event (or just practicing her skills) and they just decided to record this one with the phone.
