She is releasing the first single in April from her debut album from Republic Records coming this Fall. As musicians I think you will enjoy watching her growth from month to month at this age and from year to year to the present. The amazing and scary thing is she is still only 17, so who knows what the future may bring. I want to be around a while to witness it. Everthing she does is wonderful.😊

She made the musical arrangements - it will blow you away how her voice had matured. I think you will find that she has lost any remnant of a child's voice by the time she is 10 yo. After that, her voice matures every year like a fine wine with increased control, range & power. Since female vocal chords don't fully mature until their late 20's, we have a decade more of her vocal maturation to anticipate. That blows my mind because she's the best I've ever heard already at 17, so what will she sound like in 10 years. I just hope I'm around to hear it. She will be releasing a single in late April, 2023 from her upcoming debut album & that will be released in the fall.

Her mom didn’t have any choice, because she held Angelina off by saying she wasn’t ready yet, but as you can see, she worked hard to get ready and then her mother didn’t have any more excuses to keep her from moving forward, that’s why during the audition for NGT her mother was crying, she said that she realized she had lost her baby to the world.

Go ahead and finish NGT (Bang Bang and Summertime) then on to age 9 with I Put a Spell on You, then age 10 Feeling Good live on The Stream Gir Tilbake. I'm glad that as I've journeyed with Angie over the years I didn't have to deal with being a reactor. Every one of her videos is worth watching as she shifts through genre and styles, covering dozens of artists with her unique Angelina voice. First Republic Records album is due out this year as she evidently will be graduating from high school this spring and spreading her musical wings.

This is an amazing recording of only her voice. It is so pure and simple and penetrating into the hearts and souls of the listeners. Okay, so you need to listen to the last two songs in the NGT series, Bang Bang and Summertime. Then you will be better prepared to move forward through the rest of Angelina's Wonderland of Music.

The next song on NGT is Bang, Bang which is an old Nancy Sinatra (and Frank did it, too) but just breaks your heart if you're familiar with the words. Then of course there are 3 songs on AGT... the 1st song (Bohemian Rhapsody) is breath taking....and my personal favorite is the 2nd song (Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road). Her pitch is ALWAYS perfect. Incredible voice.

Nick, I don't know if this is how it works for you, but I do not get goose-bumps except when I am cold. But when I'm overwhelmed emotionally by something like this, or someone doing something impossible in a sports endeavor, I do not get chills, I cry. Can't help it, it is just how my brain works. Yes I cried like a baby watching this the first time. Angelina had just turned 8 years old. And I thought, 'Impossible, this can't be happening. I too laughed and cried at the same time. What is someone to do when what they are watching and hearing is a complete and utter impossibility? It took me a while to grasp that this young lady is blessed with gifts only a very few can even fully appreciate. So I just sit back cry and enjoy everything she does. I'll let others with the vocabulary for such things explain the how's and why's. Your trip is just beginning so enjoy the ride.

You have the option to check out a sampling of performances at each age and then when you get to the present day - you can always go back and check out some of the ones you missed in between. It is especially interesting to compare the videos where Angelina performs the same song at different ages to see how she changed them and also the development of her voice.

I agree with your approach… up to a point. Angelina’s progress through the four performances of Norway’s Got Talent (NGT) is truly a wonder to behold. You will be brought to tears after her final performance - make sure you watch the last performance with subtitles, AND the announcement of the winner. After that though, I wouldn’t worry too much about slavishly watching them in chronological order. For example, watching a recent performance, like one of her songs performed this past summer at Kurbadhagen in Norway will in no way, detract from “backing up” to catch earlier performances that you may have skipped. There’s SO much beautiful material… there really is no “wrong” way to discover Angelina. Sit back and enjoy your journey, whatever path you decide to follow. Rest assured, we all will be enjoying you sharing your journey with us. ❤️👣

You probably noticed that there was not an audience during this round. From what I understand too many young singing contestants passed their audition so this was a round to reduce the number of contestants going forward. They were required to sing a cappella or use an instrument if they played one. I can only imagine what the others were thinking while hearing her. If you see her finals performance of Summertime you will see the other finalists who are all much older than her.

I'll defer to others who have had a longer association with Angelina; I've only found out about her at the beginning of 2022. I wouldn't know how to best advise you on charting a path of songs, other than to say watch them all! There is such a meteoric rise on her development as a singer that noticable change takes place over the span of a few months. It's only been, what, nine years since Norske Talenter, but the depth and breadth of her accomplishments is truly incredible. Whatever decisions you make, your experience will be sublime and delightful!

You do need to watch her singing Mount Everest and I Have Nothing when she performs in a show in a beautiful long white dress, and also Summer Time which is the last song she sang in Norway Got Talent; but the one you CANT MISS is I Put a Spell on You, when she was 9, it’s crazy!

The Judges Cut ~ Few moment later most of those Singing Contestants behind her were sent home ~ Angelina won every Voting contest then won the whole thing with 46% of the votes .

I quickly realized that you had advanced ears for music, and I needed to message you about Angelina..who I am a huge fan of 🌹 Btw, your first reaction to her seems to have been blocked by Freemantle in my country Norway. If not I would have found you sooner, as I look for Angelina reactions regularly. If you learn to appreciate the amazing artist she is today, I think you will also appreciate the younger Angelina more. You must do I Put A Spell On You from when she was 9. That is a pretty major one from her and it is mindblowing.

At one point, you noticed her staccato, Loius Armstrong-esque vibrato at the end of a phrase. She uses this occasionally and to great effect. This, however, is just one of many vocal tools you'll see her use. One of the more amazing things about her is, in spite of her ability, she shows great restraint and uncanny good taste in her musical choices. Great watching this with you! Trust me, you have hardly scratched the surface. I'm sure you have been inundated by suggestions but I'll throw my two cents. Finish NGT first, that is Bang Bang and Summertime, then react to her outdoor performance a few months later of What a Difference a Day Makes, then you can satisfy your curiosity and jump around into her later years. It's all gold!

We suspect her of having perfect pitch. A fan added a backing track, he just had to adjust two pauses and effortlessly got a result that sounded like a commercial radio track. IMHO the girl in red in the back produced the right WTF face to illustrate that. You'll be seeing her develop at a breakneck speed from here. Even during the short time NGT was filmed, she cranked up the level each time. Her next performance shows her giving Nancy Sinatra a run for the money, most commenters stated they prefer her cover over the popular original track. As you'll see later, the rasp is not a feature of her voice. Its just one of the amazing many tools at the disposal of this crazy capable lil munchkin.

It was required to be a cappella. This was an elimination round. Many behind her did not make the cut. I would recommend that you finish out Norway's Got Talent performances. She is 8 by the time she wins. The next performance is "Bang Bang. The song was from Sonny and Cher and was covered by Nancy Sinatra. Her performance of this was the first public vote performance. And it moved her to the finale and her winning performance of George Gershwin's "Summertime" sung in the style of Ella Fitzgerald. You could do both songs in one video if you like. I looked into your channel, and it seems like you are well into music from a few decades ago. I myself, being in my 60s, love that of course. Even though these days, music in my life, is somehow dominated by Angelina`s music. I DO hope to see you back with her soon, as well. And I will suggest for you that her immensely elegant and amazing cover of the Elvis song "Suspecious Minds" is a must do for you. She did it in the summer of last year, so she was 16 then. I guess you have tons of recomandations for her, but as I see it, this should be your next.😉 This summer she released an EP of 6 original songs. I would also love to get your reactons to those. They are rather short songs, from 2,35 - 3.30 minutes. Maybe you even might do an album reaction for it. I would really love that. 🥰 The album is called "Old Enough" and show us rather well the 👣Angelina Jordan genre 👣 whitch I belive she will build on for years ahead. Quite unique, I`ll say. I hope you carry on with “Bang Bang” and “Summertime” from NGT, just to see the incredible improvement/growth/development from start to finish of NGT. I would tell you to go next to “What a Difference a Day Makes” (8), followed by “I Put a Spell On You” (9), two essentials imo. Angelina at age 10 gets really tricky - lots of great songs, personal preferences abound amongst her angels, but one truly outstanding one that everybody agrees on, is “I’m Holding Out For You”. Some Angels have put in a backing track to this. It is shockingly in sync with it. Clearly she has is playing it in her head. Between 10 and 11 her voice became set. Yet she improved every year. You will see it.

She started singing when she was one and a half years old and grew up listening to old jazz and blues music. Angelina sings barefoot because when she was six years old, she saw a girl without shoes and gave hers. You first have to finish Norway's Got Talent when she sings: Nancy Sinatra's 'Bang, Bang' and George Gershwin's 'Summertime.' Next before you go any further there is video of her singing Tom Jones cover "I Who Have Nothing" at age 6. This is her recording studio debut. After she won Norway's Got Talent, she was on The View at age 8 singing the Frank Sinatra's cover 'Fly me to the Moon" with a Louie Armstrong vibe. At age nine she sang 'Screaming' Jay Hawkins cover "I Put a Spell on You" in which will blow your mind. There are many versions of this song by other artists, but she developed and arranged it by listening to his original. You should try to google and watch his performance before you see her do it. Angelina sounds older than her age because her low register is developed beyond her years. She was born with a large larynx. Starting at age 10 her voice starts to mature at a rapid rate going up to presently at age 17. At age 13 she gives a star performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody" on America's Got Talent in 2020. Angelina has done covers form Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Adele, Whitney Houston, Lionel Richie, etc. The reason why most people never heard of her is because after she won Norway's Got Talent and when she finally signed a record deal with Republic Records at age 14 her parents wanted her to grow up a normal life.
