So when she hits these notes she gives granny a thumbs up, jumps up and down, and smiles After she asks the engineer if it was good, he responds not bad for your first take, lol. This is her schools studio, and the engineer is one of her music teachers.
And English is not her first language. So she is reading the lyrics in a "foreign" language and singing her heart out as if we were singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Phenomenal ♥

something even more astonishing then her singing that this video showed is how early on her professionalism started. There have been comments about her that even at a young age she would walk into recording studios with penciled arrangements. That’s more then singing ability. That’s a musical gift.

You know when you hear a song so often you get tired of it. I listen to her songs almost everyday but instead of getting tired of her music I am amazed all over again and again and again. She is so good now can you imagine what she’ll be like in 20s 30s and beyond. Selling out concerts worldwide

Actually it is more amazing that at six she was actually reading the words in English off the sheet in front of her. After the song she and the technician (teacher) were discussing that she had mixed up a line. What six year old speaks Norwegian, Persian and English. Reads English and sings in her third language
A few years ago RU-vid had her 'Gloomy Sunday' performance in the 'suggestion' column on the right and I watched it . Enjoyed it but did not quite know why the Judges were so overwhelmed . A few days later 'I Who Have Nothing' ( this one ) was in the 'suggestion' column , so I watched it . She stole my heart and never gave it back . The grin - bounce at 2:35 and then the thumbs -up at 3:40 did me in . . . . . . . . . I could not 'wrap my head around' how this amazing child could perform with so much warmth . I still cannot and have given up trying , I just enjoy what she is giving us ! ! ! On re - reviewing I finally understood why the judges reacted as they did . . . 'she IS music' !

my thoughts as someone who lacks any singing ability and knowledge of how to do it .. but .. I think that as singers progress and learn .. the wiring of the brain changes .. control of the muscles and all of that through practice .. wires the brain .. we hear about this when people have had a stroke or have had limbs reattached .. the brain CAN re-wire .. find new paths. I think that .. Angelina in a way .. came pre-wired for singing. Amazing.

This is when music starts to form... No erase that. This is music at its early stage. Coz....Angelina is simply the music.🤗 Look at her... I'm certain she has learned to sing even before she learned to speak. Videos like this in her early stages are just priceless. I'm so inlove with this kid's character. When she hit those first phrases she was very happy. It was a huge success for her and we saw the kid in her there.

I am so sorry to hear what you have been going through. It is hard having to deal with the uncertainties of your condition while simultaneously worrying about your mom. Somehow it is important for you to remove feeling guilty for all that is going on. Your health is so important for both you. Do what you must to get back on your feet and feeling better. Also please know that you are never alone. If your mom needs to get to treatments there are groups of people able and willing to help. Many medical centers have support groups and palliative care teams that assist patients and their families dealing with stressful medical conditions. Let them help, seeking help is not ever a sign of weakness or failure. Your family here will be thinking about both of you. Know that you are not alone.
According to her interview on "the view" when she sings "fly me to the moon"; she started singing jazz at 1&1\2 years old. She is definitely gifted!!!

Kevin Neal Definitely born with that amazing talent ! There are a few five and six year olds out there who sing amazingly well, like Connie talbot for one. Some are simply born to sing.

Angelinas 6 year old reading skills let her down and she mixed up a couple of words, the control room tells her to continue and she gives a thumbs up. Thats basically what is said at the end and he asks her if shes ok with how it went. Theres another video of her even younger singing in her classroom without a mic
Thanks for this great video. Remember shes 6 and english is her 3rd language. In her own fathers words "She was a Jazz god from age 5" . Could be wrong - but I think its all her artist grandmothers fault, who went hunting all the music stores for old jazz records with her, and may have been responsible for her singing jazz from 18 months old. what do you think? Something I notice in Norway, Im not sure why but she turns up with her hand written arrangements and hands them to top jazz musicians, along with revised lyrics from her parents, and tells the musicians she is going to slow the tempo to this and change key where, in other countries they would treat her like a child, but in Norway they treat her like another seasoned professional, maybe its because the whole country is so proud of her, I dont know.

I think that she is about eight at the time of this video. If you look at her teeth you can see that she had only one tooth at the age of "Gloomy sunday". In this video the second tooth is half grown. At the age of "Summertime" it's almost completely grown. However she is absolutely amazing!!!!!!
Kids have all their baby teeth before they start to fall off from age 6 upwards so by seven the permanent teeth are slowly making their way through. Regardless of teeth or less teeth, she is talent personified!
There is a clip of her still in diapers and laying in her crib singing karaoke into a mic. She sounds about like you would expect a child that young to sound like but it is clear she wanted to sing at an early age.

I found a shorter version of this where she just sings 2-3 lines, but the audio portion sounds different, as if it was the final/finished recording... and she sounds FLAWLESS, about at stunning as “I put a spell on you.” In your reaction video, the audio sounds more like rehearsal and not the finished product, as she does go off key at times. Do you happen to know where the finished recording of this is? Listen to this sample and how PERFECT she sounds!!! To take nothing away from this amazing performance - she cannot be 6 here. Has one adult tooth grown in, just like her Norway's Got Talent performances. Possibly recorded shortly before or after her audition, which was late in her 7th year. There are a number of comments on this in the original link given here by Smileyface. The poster, pa1189j, says he has no firm way of dating the video. By the time she won she was 8, with two adult front teeth. We don't know where that CyberLink click-board at 1:44 comes from - it's not in the original video link given by smiley face, or any audition vid I've found. Scene 20 makes no sense. And Lena Lena in this thread translates that the technician at the end says this was the 1st take; clipboard says 2nd. And a date in Europe is written 30.6.2012. Somehow part of the interruptions smiley face put in for copyright reasons? The audition *aired* in March 2014, and went viral, when she was 8. Her teeth in this reaction vid are very similar to her audition. Could not find out when the audition actually was, but obviously in 2013. She states she's 7, and many sources say 7 1/2. One might argue the clipboard was just off by 1 year, which would fit 7 1/2 exactly. But June to March is a long time not to produce such a show. Her live appearances in March and April show 2 full front teeth, etc. There is no way 8 or 9 months could pass with only that amount of growth; it took fewer months. No way for this “I Who Have Nothing” to have been recorded when she was exactly 7 1/2, and certainly impossible for 6 1/2. The teeth don’t lie. She must have auditioned in fall 2013.
