Hi! Thank yo for your very thoughtful reaction to Angelina's "7th Heaven" music video. A story within a story. Angelina telling us never to give up however bad things become, and a young girl employed as a kitchen hand daydreaming of better things. The part of that girl was played by Sydney Dalessi , a young American singer/songwriter/dancer, in her early twenties.
This is an original by Angelina, showing us again her positive message. Life may throw us some curves, dreams may be fading, but find the strength within yourself-and you’ll be able to like the person you see in the mirror. On the music side, she makes this old school jazz beat completely accessible to every age group. And a bonus for you, Red-the bass player is the “you all” guy you saw playing piano in her earlier original, What is Life”.

I'm happy that you could sort it out though, and react some more to Angelina🥰 This was Angelina's 5th original, and the 2nd after she signed with Republic Records at age 14. The first one being Million Miles. I do believe you're right in your observation, that this was around the time Angelina changed a bit, as is to be expected from a girl at 14-15 years old. She was 15 here 🙂 Her voice matured even more, and also the music she made and covered changed a bit. But I feel that her inner being hasn't changed much at all. Maybe her mother thinks differently 😁, but we as fans still see the innocent and extremely loving and caring Angelina. And I'm fairly sure that we are right 😅 Have a great weekend! This is an old form of jazz that was very popular in the 30 s -40's, called 'Swing'. My mom used to go to Roseland Ballroom on Saturday nights to dance and listen to the 'Big Bands' that played there. When the orchestra would take a break, a female soloist would take the stage with a few musicians to accompany her and she would do 'slow tempo' renditions of 'Swing' songs like this.
Angelina's genius ability is beyond debate and being able to compartmentalize every 'minute bit' of music she has ever heard, had 'Swing' tucked away in her memory, for sure.
Red, we mostly see Angelina performing and taking the music very seriously. In the many 'home videos' and practice sessions we get to see her having fun and acting her age. Angelina has a great sense of humor and the whole family is very close, playful and loving.
@@redheadedneighbor I wanted to link a short video, shot by Angelina's mom, showing Angie trying to walk on a pair of tight-ropes in a park. It is probably a TT post because I couldn't find it today. If it shows on your feed I recommend watching, as it shows them just out and having a good time. Angelina has said Sara is her best friend and it shows in the vid. The combination of Angie's smiles and Sara's commentary is quite addictive.
Angelina is a split personality [in a good way] When she speaks, she sounds like a shy teenager, but when she sings. she sounds like a seasoned veteran. Incredible.

Hi Red, great reaction. Angelina's changes may vary. It can be from yr to yr, month to month and so on. The one I mostly remember was when she went from child to young lady right after she signed with Republic record at 14 yrs old and made her first recording of an Adele cover called " All I Ask ". You can really Notice the change. She's wonderful and I do love how she's grown vocally. Ty so much for sharing this with us.

Nice reaction. People she has worked with, going back to Egil, her guitarist in Norway, have tried hard to keep things light. In her company you can feel the profession maturity, so you have push yourself to remember she's just a pre-teen or teen. In the time you see her with Egil, you often see laughing before or after the song.

This means providing the links to the original video and her channels, Patreon and social media. C'mon, it's not just about promoting yourself; you want to promote the artists too!! Without them, would you have almost 7k subscribers?

Most people don't read what's in the description box; they just look for links.....Don't you think it would be more impactful if your viewers heard those words of encouragement from you in your video? As well as your direction for them to look in the description box for all the links you've provided (that is, if you follow my suggestion).....A lot of people are like me, in that they won't subscribe to a channel that doesn't fully promote the artist.....(Please understand that I'm not hating on you. Just trying to help you get into that upper echelon of quality reacters. In other words, I think you do a very good job, but it could be even better!)

I honestly don’t think they really know how much they mean to us. Their music becomes a companion in our lives and some days bolsters us to face another day. They say some artists are not even nice people, their music is still a friend sometimes. Then there are artists like Angelina who is kind and so talented. People like this really do make the world a better place for us. Even if it’s just when we have on our headphones. So, thank you.
