Angelina gave her her ankle boots. The girl promised to pray for her. Angie was 6 at the time and vowed to always sing in public barefoot in honor of all the children that have no shoes, clothes, or parents. As you can see she still honors that pledge today. Angelina wrote Million Miles for anyone who has lost a loved one. She lost her paternal grandpa in 2018 then her maternal grandpa in November 2019 and she wrote this masterpiece shortly after losing her second grandpa. Angelina was 14 for this performance and just turned 15 on January 10th. I was like you, and many men, not a crier despite losing many loved ones, then Angelina came into my life about a year ago. It took a few months of listening to Angelina and I just couldn't get enough. There was something drawing me in and wanting to hear more. Finally the dam developed a crack and I would tear up from time to time while listening to Angelina. When Million Miles was released, the dam broke and I cried like a baby many times, and now feel whole again after losing 5 loves ones over the most recent 4 years. Angelina is a angel on Earth.

English is the 3rd or 4th language she learned. She started with Norwegian and Farsi (Iran). Her maternal grandmother is Iranian, and her maternal grandfather was Japanese. Her Father is Swedish and although it is close to Norwegian, she speaks that along with some Japanese. I have heard her sing in French as well.

Seeing her sing, in this beautiful black & white video is absolutely wonderful, after having listened to her voice hundreds of times in the previous video with the drawings of her grandmother, to see her now interpret her song with such skill, even changing it slightly is absolutely fantastic, full admiration for her evolution, as a person and as a singer, it is impossible to break away from it. Check out the official lyric video. It is very classy Very Angelina. The song was written about her grandfather who passed and her grandmother did the artwork on the video. I recall reading that her grandmother has done art work on previous videos but don't quote me.
