It is a sobering thing that we, over time, grow a bit callous and expectant that Angelina will deliver such extraordinary performances as this. And when it happens (as here when she's 10yo) and as she nearly always does deliver, we who know her capabilities and excellence are not completely gob-smacked to the extent that we should be. No need to hurry, I'm sure Angelina has good people around her. I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her. She is so good anyway, so she can not be ignored. She delivers music that lasts, and not music that lasts for a few weeks as plastic hit. Angelina has over 600 Million Views on RU-vid and over 2 Billion Views on Facebook overall on her videos. Angelina won Norway's Got Talent at the Age of 8, and has been producing masterclass level vocals ever since. The only and regular marketing is done by the fans via RU-vid. All the important top personalities in the western music industry know who she is and what she can do. In just a few years I know that we will see great things from Angelina. Angelina recorded this demo of this Fantastic song when she was 10 (can you believe that???). It was leaked (not by Angelina or her team) without permission of the composer and copyright holder Brandon Lowry (Baby Fuzz). He did not okay the release, not did he know that she made this demo, but he liked it so much that he allowed it to stay on the internet. I believe it was posted before Baby Fuzz released his version, so from one point of view, this could be considered an original performance by Angelina. I won't attempt to argue that, but I will say that for me, and many of her fans, this is one of the very best performances in her career. I would love to see it included in an album by Angelina. The common wisdom is that Angelina was 10 years old (same age as when she sang the phenomenal indoors, onstage version of "Feelin' Good") when she recorded this. I had the same feeling that they had done this song long time ago. I think was at the beginning of their Angelina rabbit hole adventure. I thought was too soon. I'm glad they did it again.
I'm still holding out for you song written by Brandon Lowry( also goes by Baby Fuzz), Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen they went to 10-year-old Angelina with it and Angelina made this audio cut (pictures were added later by a fan "great job") but Angelina's family didn't like the ending lyrics referencing suicide and asked for a lyric change from the authors and they refused so Angelina refused her cut. (The song was released by Baby Fuzz later)Then the audio cut was leaked, (pirated) from Angelina later on, also Angelina has stated she would never sing the song again. Brandon Lowry (it is sed Lowery has no problem) with the U-tube video being used. It's a terrible shame as it could have been a mega-hit. My favorite AJ song what a shame about the drama.

She is 10 and about to be 11 when she did this. Yup. I believe it was a vocal demo for the writer of the song. I so agree with you about how wonderful it would be to SEE her sing this song .. live in studio or wherever ... but live.
My understanding is that she despite her mother's issues with some of the lyrics recorded it anyway. I think her mother's concerns were understandable, but unfounded and she misunderstood the few line's misunderstanding them. Reportedly this was written for her and she was 10 when recorded. I totally agree with Stan. I think it demonstrates how a professional the early recording and how commanding she is. It hints at just how much phenomenal she is and how how far she may go. Whoever did this visual production did an incredible job.
I also heard that though she recorded it and her mother's objections she won't sing it going forward. Which is too bad I think it really brings out her range.

Some say that her mother took editorial control and refused to make a video but it got leaked anyway. However, AJ's first big-time public performance (Norway's Got Talent) she sang the Hungarian Suicide Song called "Gloomy Sunday". Makes me think that it is more what others are saying - the composer decided to record it himself. I think that she will make this song a #1 hit someday.
Angelina has spoken as to how she found Gloomy Sunday and, asked her Mom's thinking on the song, and, and A.J. "liked" the song. Let's not entangle our accrued knowledge of a song with a performance based on "cause someone heard a song" and liked it and performed it later.

Angelina's family wants to protect her youth. It is commonly believed that her mother did not approve of the lyrics and would not allow her to send this demo to Baby Fuzz. There are many theories as to why it was "LEAKED", but seems the original artist, Baby Fuzz, had only released a demo and it was never officially released. So the song was written and produced by me and a few friends in Norway. It was pitched around possibly for another artist to record, and apparently Angelina cut this version around that time (when she was only 10 years old - impressive!). I never heard the demo, though, and we were never approached about her releasing it as far as I know. The song sat for a few years, and then I just decided to put it out with my original demo vocals on. I came across this version after it was out already, and I think it's super cool. Apparently a certain part of the lyrics did not like his family, but 'someone' put it on the network, in my opinion 'someone' of the family, cause his interpretation is absolutely ... that bridge ... OMG. Anyway, you have missed quite a few things, I recommend that you start with the most recent 'Heal the world' and continue backwards. Greetings.

Talk about misinformation!!!! There really is no controversy with the song. After hearing AJ's demo cut, both family and Fuzz loved her version. There is no lyric issue as AJ has changed lyrics on numerous songs. The real problem was she was about to turn 11 in a week and this song would have catapulted her into the public sphere way ahead of schedule. They are adamant about keeping her under wraps till her schooling is finished. She had been offerered recording contracts since she was 8, after winning NGT. This song is a masterpiece and would have forced her and her family to make uncomfortable choices for her career, so it was shelved. Potential problem in rerecording it is her base and everyone else love her version as a 10 year old. Could she do herself at 18????
