I'll soon be 75 and I do feel grandfatherly love and affection for Angelina, and the protective feeling they automatically bring about. I feel that way about her fellow Norwegian Aurora, also. Couldn't ask for two better "granddaughters".

When Angelina gets happy and ready to get down with a song it is out of this world . To see her this Animated is just a special rare treat. No doubt she could be the next new Queen of Rock n Roll if she wanted to. 11 years old and commands 110% attention and adoration from young and old alike. She has that special quality the the late greats had like Elvis and she is only 11 here, just a Wow Wow Wow this girl is just every descriptive superlative one can come up with.

One of my absolute favorite AJ performances, top ten for sure! Love your enthusiastic reactions, and love your setup, very thoughtfully laid out. So many reactors have the performer in a tiny window in the corner and we're left looking at their office or bedroom in most of the screen, dumb!

I love her for being an extraordinary vocalist and I admire her as a perfect personal and artistic role model for people of all ages, races and ethnicities.
I continue to be blown away by her absolute NO LIMITS to her history of styles. (By the way - the camera paused on that li'l gal dancing on Daddy's lap, and along with your comments of "audience respects her" - that's true. But just imagine hearing of a festival and thinking, "AJ! That means we can take our kids!" How many contemporary acts strike you as "family outing"?)
Combustible - I also was oblivious to most music from outside our borders (UK performers the largest exception) until about three years ago. Then I started listening to music videos on RU-vid and performers from around the world. Daneliya Tuleshova (Kazakhstan) was the first young singer I listened to, and I don’t now remember why I even clicked on her video. She sang Rise Up on a talent show - think she was around 10 at the time. She blew everyone away, including me. She, in turn, led me to Angelina, Diana Ankudinova (Russia), Aurora, The Warning, and others. International talent has been out there years before these young folks, but I was just unaware - my loss. Making up for lost time now. Cheers.
I know where I've heard this one, Burlesque, Christina Aguilera's first song. Yeah I know it's older than that but she did a great version. At least until I heard Angelina.
I hope Angelina's summer concerts in Norway will return. And bigger ones in 2022. She thrives on live performance, so amazing for someone so young. I love her upbeat stuff like this one. If you haven't seen her video "When You're Smiling" try reacting to that one! It's a blast.
Angelina just had her July concert in Norway cancelled due to the pandemic so you won't probably see her this year. It was rescheduled for July 2022. The bad news is it is already sold out!

Angelina in this song, with an almost gospel version, is incredibly lively and already very engaging even at the age of 11 and her body language communicates the her pleasure in the performance of this 1962 song sung by Etta James, another of the singers loved by Angelina 😊 ❤️ During all the years she has participated in "Singing At The Border", which is held every year and always with those wonderful flowers in her hair, Angelina has always performed fantastic performances. It's also nice to see her grow up on that stage over the years in the different editions of the festival, as she gains more and more awareness and self-confidence. ❤️
It's easy when you cut the "work" part out of the equation and just have fun with life! LOL I retired myself at 31 years old after 6.5 years in Afghanistan straight with a contracting company. Have been doing my own things ever since, but only started the RU-vid thing on March 6th 2021. Now RU-vid is my full-time hobbyjob

Yes!! You nailed it! She stands up there and sings flawlessly and makes it look like there is no more effort than breathing. As for your other comment, she gives us older folks a style of music we really miss. I grew up in the 60s, so I didn't listen to a lot of the music she sings, "BUT" as someone else said in a comment once, "Angelina makes me listen to music I would have never listened to before", and I LOVE it! She had a song written for her to sing, by a fellow Norwegian duo called TRXD. They do EDM (electronic dance music) and when I first heard the song I wasn't sure about it, but each time I listened to her sing it, I liked it more and more. Hey Highly, when other kid/girls her age go to the mall or are fooling around with make up, AJ is hard at work for her craft, trying out new songs in the "music corner" of her room and rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing or just for fun LOL sewing stage clothes for herself, rearranging songs to her liking, .... just the fun stuff other kids do in their free time, beside school, music academy etc. You and yours please stay save and healthy. Something I want to mention is that I have watched a lot of videos of Angelina performed in Norway or by Norwegian bands, etc., and every single song she sings in English. Is that unusual? Do all Norwegians speak fluent English?
