Angelina Jordan - What a Difference a Day Makes (REACTION) 

I want to make a contribution to the Angelina fan community. For years I have followed our barefoot princess and tried (as a musician that I am) to give an answer to such a wonderful gift from God. What is different about Angie from all the singers I have listened to today or in the past? That question has intrigued me, objectively, personally, not by disparaging others or comparing them but to understand why it makes me feel a different auditory effect. Reading hundreds of comments one of them gave me an idea that rounded off after a comment on the video Angelina Jordan & Beyonce: "I'd Rather Go Blind" THE WORD THAT WOULD DEFINE ANGIE IS SPLENDOR, IT IS LIKE A MUSICAL LIGHT THAT ILLUMINATES, THE THE EFFECT THAT IT PRODUCES AT THE BEGINNING IS LIKE A "CANNON SHOT" OF LIGHT, THAT IS WHY MANY OF US HAVE BEEN SHOKED IN SONGS OR FEELING CHILLY. Many reactors when listening to so many singers continuously fail to perceive these sensations that we Angelina's angels feel by auditory frequency when listening frequently. I want to apologize in front of some fans of other singers, my intention was to understand why Angelina sounds so different from others and the word is SPLENDOR, SHE IS A LIGHT CANNON SHOT, ANGIE IS LIKE KING MIDAS, EVERYTHING YOU PLAY MAKES HIM IN GOLD, THINK OBJECTIVELY: EVERY FAMOUS MUSICIAN, Alan Walker, Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, David Foster, Meek, James Blunt, Staffan William-Olsson, etc. EVERY PERSON LIKE US WHO HAS LISTENED TO IT HAS FEELED THAT IMPACT OF CANNON OF LIGHT. In summary, here the theme is not just music HERE IS SOMETHING MUCH BEYOND THE MUSIC. SHE IS A GIFT FROM HEAVEN

Her voice is perfect for that style of song. Beautiful bluesy, sensuous feel with just the right touch of raspiness in just the right spots.

When you close your eyes do you think of Billie holiday it’s amazing how her voice goes back to the 30s and 40s and she’s seven possibly just turning eight but I read somewhere she was seven when she did when she was doing this performance at this particular place she’s amazing she has stage presence she doesn’t have that phoney smile and actions that young children have when they are on stage they have been prompted and told what to say and what to do when went to smile and how to react and everything has been sort of wrote with her it’s all natural it’s call her it’s organic

Have you seen the new video release of Angelina singing “Million Miles” live? It’s shot in black and white and Angelina is accompanied only by a cello and a piano.

Actually, Angelina's confidence was high going into NGT. But after those 4 performances and her landslide victory, she knew very well how talented she was. So this outdoor concert on the Norway/Sweden border is occurring about 3 months after her NGT win. She is seen as a National Treasure in Norway, so for the most part, she can do no wrong in their eyes. So what does she do? Just absolutely nails this very nuanced classic jazz song. I mean, except for maybe another performance by Angelina, I've never heard it done better. And that includes the original wonderful Grammy winning performance by the fabulous Dinah Washington. I put Angelina's performance right there with Dinah's. 💕

I can't help but think when I saw the back-up singers, someone asking them who did you sing back-up for and they say an 8-year-old. I know they really would have said, Angelina Jordan and have been really proud to do so. This is one of my top favorites. I have said for a long time now I want her to do a whole album of James Bond songs. Dear sir, from that day on, Norwegians were absolutely sure, that their "festivalen" there beside that castle, was not complete without Angelina. Their national treasure HAD to sing there. I also marvel at how English is not her mother tongue. Almost always you can hear some tiny smidge of an accent somewhere with somebody who has acquired another language instead of being born into it. But not here. Absolutely flawless English, which she deploys with masterful phrasing. We're so lucky to have her in this world.

I agree with everything you said. It is incredible that at 8 years old she is able to stand out there in the middle of a sea of people and just fall into the world of the song she has created in her head. That alone is impressive enough, but on top of that she delivers a vocal that is just amazing. Her sense of timing, the little flavors she adds to each word... she is a master craftsman of music....at 8. Angelina's command of any setting IMHO comes from the fact that she wanted to do this, she was born to sing, and has wanted to do it for the world. There is no stopping her now. Angelina is my favorite singer with a voice for the centuries. And this is saying nothing of her character which is also amazing. Super reaction sir, thumbs up.

This performance took place a few weeks after Angie won Norway's Got Talent so she was 8. I have been told that this venue holds around 7000 people. This video holds a special place in my heart since it was the first one I watched. Amazing how Angie can hold those beautiful notes for sooooooo long.

She is alone on a tiny stage with her backup singers a dozen meters+ behind her and the band another 12 meters+ behind that. Yet the 8yo AJ, isolated on such an island, with calm and her usual serenity, in front a bunch of people, swaying to and fro, closes her eyes and owns the whole shebang! A master lesson in stage presence from a 3rd grader! Wow just wow! Great reaction!

The venue is Fredriksten Fortress in the city of Halden,Norway. It close to the border of Sweden so the tv program is called Sing along on the border, its been broadcasted on TV2 Norway since 2007 and Angelina been a guest several times. The audience gets sheets of all the music played in the concert so they can sing a long and they also post the lyrics on screen so the viewers at home also can sing along.

At the sight of that many people I think my eight year old self would have forgotten lyrics, lost all composure, pissed myself, and run off the stage crying.There may be singers that age with good voices, but to have the confidence, the stage presence, and the ability to sing in a style perfect for that genre by delivering spot on timing and phrasing, as Angelina did, must be without peer.

Fable, I completely agree with your reaction. Watching the expression on Angelina’s face there is no doubt that she is wholly immersed in the song and her delivery of it. She once said that when she performs she goes to her happy place in her mind. IMO, she is unequaled.

Angelina already proved that she has the voice for a James Bond song when she wrote and performed, “Shield”. If I’m not mistaken I believe that she was inspired by James Bond theme songs when she wrote it.

When Angelina is so identified with her source of inspiration, she leaves me absolutely amazed, when she performs in this Norwegian festival "Sing-along at the Border", almost every year, she really gives her best, you see that she has a good feeling with the people around her. How is it possible that a little girl (in this case at 8 years old) is so incredibly emotional and talented as a professional singer to completely involve and fascinate the her audience?
