Yes, Angelina is a Reincarnation of a great Blues Singer. From the time she was two, she was interested in singing. As a little girl, she would spend hours listening to the old greats with her grandmother. Her mother once wanted her to learn Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Angelina wasn't having it. No sureeeeeee! LOL. She came back to sing the music that was in her heart. What a difference another life makes! And she made it Jazzed in time!

I don't think jazz standards can be sung better than this. Ooops, Angelina has sung many other jazz standards. Angelina closes her eyes and goes to her special world, she describes as unending and filled with happiness. Thankfully, she has the talent to take us to that special world too.

A few years ago, this was my first introduction to Angelina Jordan. I always loved this song by Dinah Washington. While watching this my mouth was wide open. I couldn't believe that an 8 year old girl from Norway could do that rendition so well. I've been following her career ever since.

She is captivating with her voice developed by her mentors Billie, Ella, Etta, Louis, Frank, Elvis, and others. We hear them in every song she does.

What I would like you to do, though, is to play it again for yourself and have a good cry, tears of joy if you will, because that is a very natural experience to enjoy. You said, "Let's enjoy her. But, I will tell you this (without figuring it out), even at 8 years old, no vocalist, singer, artist, has ever affected me the way Angelina does. Today, Angelina (16) lives in Los Angeles, and she's made over 160 covers and has 5 original scores. Here's where Angelina first took the world stage. As a 7 year old with bushy 'Amy Winehouse' hair and a permanent tooth trying to grow in, Angelina auditioned for Norway's Got Talent (Season 2014), and went on to win the competition. I am often at a loss for words, when trying to describe Angelina Jordan's voice, or what genre she fits in, & I have come to accept, that she does not fit in any category, or genre, & is simply in league all of her own.....One thing I do know though, is every time I hear her voice, it touches my heart & brings out emotions, some of which, I didn't even know existed! What an amazing gift Angelina is!!! 💝 On a side note, I love how your mind goes to story telling when you are doing your reviews!!! 😊

This is one of the things I've noticed about Angelina. With every stage of growth that came her way, she found new ways to adapt and challenge herself and keep singing at her best no matter what. She is profoundly unique and amazing. :)

I’ve been blown away by Angelina for four or five years, and I feel sure this is one of her most extraordinary performances. She’s-eight-years-old. Not only is this technically flawless, but as you saw, she lives those lyrics. I remember the great original by Dinah Washington. Angelina’s version is patterned after that, but we still get her own phrasing and tempo, along with a beautiful low register, changing textures, and already killer vibrato. You could put this version in any Golden Hits of the Fifties.

Here, her 'vocal chameleon' ability allows her to emulate Dinah Washington EXACTLY ! She also did this a year earlier when she sang Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday', for it was so 'spot on' with Billie's original, all the talk about Billie being reincarnated into a 7 year old Norwegian princess began.

This song was written in Spanish in 1934 by Maria Grever. I always thought it was Dinah Washington`s song. Angelina is an old soul... There can be no other earthly explanation for such a child. There are quite some of those around in this day and age because it`s more than obvious that humanity is in a very bad place, and we need some extra help from those who are ahead of us.
