I'm with you, that album is perfect from start to finish. Valkyrie Missile is such a fuckin great start to the album. This is my favorite song off that album for sure, but only by a very slim margin because every song is so solid. Something about the ambience and atmosphere of that album is unlike any other album.. every song makes you feel a certain emotion unique to that particular song. So yeah, haha, I 100% understand how you feel about this album.

@@patmccrotch5373 Valkyrie Missile always made me feel like we are flying off, and the rest of the album takes place in space. I think it's an outstanding concept album, at least from an instrumental viewpoint.

Tom isn’t the only talented one from blink-182 but his work with blink-182 is better than the work they did with Matt skiba as much as I don’t dislike him he doesn’t suit that band

vocals are also definitly a day to day thing. the chords are in different thickness and lubrication and warmed up depending on not just the hour but. the minute. haha. i thin he doesnt sound his best in this video. but non of these style live ones sound good. lol. i saw him live that year with say anything and he sounded fckin on point. as a classmate made fun of me at the show for. we moshed to AVA like it was slipknot (we were from and in Iowa at the time)

@@rewschreijewschreier I agree, music is all about how you feel in the moment. But then again, while his voice sounds tired he is so note for note in-key, I can't explain it but that's not something you hear a lot in live performances.

@@jamarcusrussel2352 lol i think some people are given alot more natural talen than others. and if u wanan go down the hes not talented route. tom sure outshined lthe living shit outta literally millinos of people in the world with more natural talent than him maybe by sheer passion. which adds alot of beauty to it. and ive seen him live and the night i saw him he killed it. also he has ETD, euchstacion problems and ud be amazed how bad that is for singing. and i promise u everyone even the best. have off and bad nights. they just never put out the sheer amount of material there is for tom. those people curate carefully to not have their not perfects get out. cause average zeitgeist of singers is retarded. Perfect is one thing, all over the place is another love this guy just the same though! He's more of a studio musician

sounds silly, but I like when artists don't sound perfect. I love when it sounds emotional, something I would sing, gives it much much more depth imo

Vincent Mauron I agree...Tom gives you everything you want with this performance. Its himself and its great.

Everyone does there's less instrumentation to compete with as far as volume goes, this was shakey though.

Another thing, they tend to lower the key when they play acoustic aswell. Really helps him to sound more consistent. A lot of his best vocal effort are on slower and maybe even acoustic songs too, Anomaly, Invisible Parade etc..

Yeah but that is where some musicians are ruined. He is still great with no effects. Sounds truly passionate.

They are a full step down here and it still sounds like there’s a fair bit of post on his voice you can hear it level out. I’m a big fan of the guy but his best work is in the studio
