6yrs ago i was praying as i was walking home from school and not really paying much attention to my surroundings....i was cutting through the school's parking lot and as i was walking between 2 big vans (i couldn't see around them at all), my feet suddenly stopped moving and it was as if they were strongly magnetized to the ground and i COULD NOT MOVE AT ALL....the next thing ik a car goes speeding by in the parking lot where i would have been if i had still been walking like i literally almost got hurt/died....thank God for my Guardian Angel!!
I have a beautiful testimonial. Last year, as we were about to lay my son's ashes to rest, we arrived at the church to find the priest (a holy priest) waiting for us. Nobody knew of the date or time of the interment because I wanted it to be intimate..just husband, kids and my parents. My husband's family live in the UK so no-one from his side would make it to the ceremony. The priest then says that two elderly men arrived, with British accents just before we'd arrived and he assumed that one of them was my father-in-law. My response was that it was impossible as he is too old to travel and would not be able to come. Noteworthy is the fact that this little church is in a pretty unknown location, a little off the beaten track. So I asked the priest what they said and as he responded, he got gooseflesh all over and turning white, said that they said, 'We're here for the baby' ... and then walked off (no car).. to nowhere. Interestingly, before my beloved son was born, whilst praying the Rosary also with the intention of seeking out the right name, Our Blessed Mother gave me the name, Josef Michael. .. and just before he died I invoked Sts. Padre Pio and Gerard.. ... to this day, I've no idea who the men were.. but have a sneaking feeling they were angels or perhaps my son's patron saints Joseph and Michael. God is so good! I felt such consolation that day.. undeserved Divine consolation. Praise be Jesus and Mary!

I saw a guardian angel of my parish in the Philippines once. It was around Christmas time, I was kneeling, waiting for the evening mass. He was huge, facing the altar where the tabernacle is.

I have one time heard my Guardian Anglel. Was 18- 19 years of age and started to klimb a mauntain that i though i could climb, but it turned bad really quickly because i was stuck in a place for almost an hour. It happend 3 times, and third time was the worst so it came to my mind to pray, and heard a manly voice say go right, and i did and found some way there that i could not see before. I thought i was crazzy at the time because i was atheist back then. Now its perfecly clear it was him. I would perish probably many times without him.
As a Protestant, I was taught that Purgatory does not exist, but during prayer and meditation, I would often see people that I thought should be in heaven, walking in distress like they wanted water, or are in misery. So I prayed for them. Later I saw them looking as if they were free. I was taught to NEVER pray for the dead. I am still confused about it.
The Final Purification, or Purgatory. All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation, but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven. The church gives the name purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. The church formulated her doctrine of faith on purgatory especially at the council's of Florence and Trent . The tradition of the church, by reference to certain texts of scripture, speaks of a cleansing fire. 1 Corinthians chapter 3 vs 11-17. For God has already placed Jesus Christ as the one and only foundation and no other foundation can be laid. Some will use gold and silver or precious stones in building on the foundation; others will use wood or grass or straw. And the quality of each person' s work will be seen when the day of Christ exposes it. For on that day fire will reveal everyone work; the fire will test it and show it's real quality. If what was built on the foundation survives the fire, the builder will recieve a reward. But if anyone's work it's burnt up,then he will lose it ; but he himself will be saved, as if he had escaped through the fire. Surely you know that you are God's temple and that God's spirits lives in you . So if anyone destroys his temple, God will destroy him . For God's temple is holy and you yourselves are his temple ( talking about the just man whose works is judge by fire). 2 Maccabees chapter 38 - 44( Judas Maccabees after the battle found that his men hide idol in their clothes so he made a sin offerings for those who have died to be free from their sins. From verse 43 ; He took up a collection from all his men, totalling about two kilograms of silver and sent it to Jerusalem to provide a sin offerings. Judas did this Noble thing because he believed in the resurrection of the dead. If he had not believed that the dead would be raised,it would have been foolish and useless to pray for them. In his firm and devout conviction that all God's faithful people would recieve a wonderful reward, Judas made provision for a sin offering to set free from their sin those who had died. Matthew 12;31 Jesus says that anyone who sin against the holy Spirit will never be forgiven in this age or in the next . Jesus believe that there is another place after death where our sins can be forgiven or where we can be purified but not in all cases . The Jews believe that there is purgatory and they call it " Gahanoon". Google it Anyone who commit that leads to death has temporal punishment there person can face it in earth or in purgatory. 1 Corinthians 15 vs 29 now, what about the people who are baptized for the dead? What do they hope to accomplish? If it is true, as some claim, that the dead are not raised to life, why are those people being baptized for the dead.( Baptism in the text means prayer). 1 Peter 3 18-19 for Christ died for our sins once and for all, a good man on behalf of sinners ,in order to lead you to God . He was put to death physically but made alive spiritually and in his spiritual existence he went and preached to the imprisoned spirits. 1 John chapter 5 vs 16-17. There are sins that leads to death and there are sins that does not lead to death. ( Meaning the are sins that does not lead to suffering in hell and the are sin that leads to suffering in hell.. There are venial and mortal sin.. Mortal sin are the sin of the flesh if you die in mortal sin you will suffer greatly In hell. But if you die in vienal sin God is so merciful he might sent you to purgatory because nothing unclean will enter heaven. There are more verses in the Bible that prove purgatory but I will stop here, purgatory is also a tradition and believe from the Jews . Thanks

I'm brazilian and lived in Rio de Janeiro for 11 years. That Vivo Rio venue is very far from any other place, across from the highway and, like Gabriel mentioned, the only other thing next to it is the water. Someone walking to his next destination from there would take anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes to get across the highway by a high-pass (Aterro do Flamengo) to wherever he might have been going to. If that was a regular dude, and not an angel, he was incredibly kind and generous to have taken you that far off out of his way. He would have been maybe 30 minutes late to work, going to Vivo Rio and back, most likely.

No joke I was praying the rosery yesterday whilst in the car, (I wasn't driving of course) and there was a long line of cars behind this one car that was towing a caravan and the road we were on, was a thin winding road. And some guy decides to pull out onto the other road and over take 3 cars (Including me some grey car in from of me and the caravan holding us up.) and just as this happened a truck came out of nowhere. It almost hit that car but the car pulled back in. So to sum it up, I ALMOST DIED.

Some years ago I was spending my vacations in Germany with my family. Our native language is spanish. It happened that we were in the train station trying to buy train tickets from a machine that was only in German and out of nowhere a young spanish speaking german woman appeared and helped us ! I wonder if it was an angel.

Possible I look at one blue eyes girl n told her your not as mean as you act..a glance between us n she goes over to the guy she was toying with n says sorry to him. In a very nice way more than just a good looking young woman something in her eyes I noticed really quick. Makes for a fun bar story to share..
Our guardian Angel is everyday 24h/24h present, seeing us, protecting us, whispering good intentions in our heart, interceding for us bevor God, loving us, beeing happy with us, helping us to bear the cross with Jesus. Don't wait for big manifestations or angels appearing to you until you believe. Learn to walk with your guardian Angel, love him and most importantly, thank Him and the Lord. Walk by faith not by sight and you will encounter your guardian Angel in the little things and see the Glory of God through them to fighting for you battles you don't even know about.

Saint Teresa was not as great as we all think. She just saved the church a lot of money by denying people medical treatment that would take away pain. But when she needed treatment she made sure she had pain killers.
She is a canonized Saint. Her canonization is infallible. I have no idea about the circumstance you are speaking of, but she was human. All humans sin. Some have committed grave sins of commission and/or omission, but if they are canonized that means that the Church declares that they are in heaven and that they have lived lives of HEROIC virtue. Mother Teresa lived a life of heroic virtue... and instead of cutting her down, she isn't here to defend herself... consider trying to follow some of her great virtues.

I respectfully disagree with this teaching. Angels do not lie. Angels do not decieve. Demons do. Not angels. Angels are holy messengers of God. The devil is the liar. Something feels very off about this. Also, agels can speak. They did it several times in the Bible. Also, you said angels cannot know our thoughts but in this video you said your guardian angel knew you were considering bringing your son (?) And your wife's angel spurred a thought to support you at that moment.
Jesus is the only way. And Purgatory is God's mercy extended. Heaven is all beauty, all good, all holy. If you die and you aren't perfectly united to the will of God and you have not lived a good life but not completely out of God's friendship. GOD in His Mercy allows you to be purified in purgatory. The scripture says after we die we will be purified as if by fire.
Not speaking out of knowledge, rather out of overzealous speculation. (1) First, there is no 'hell'; this has been a gradual invention over time by the Roman Catholic Church. There is no mention of hell in the OT or NT. The Hebrew term Sheol, which had been correlated with the Greek term Shades, signifies the region of the Dead. No mention is ever made of eternal damnation. 2) It is correct that guardian angels are assigned to specific humans, but this assignment does not terminate upon physical death of the human being. Humans experience many repeated earth lives and are associated with the same angel each life. The angel also evolves. It is only through lack of reflection that many people think higher beings, the choirs, do not themselves constantly strive for greater spiritual evolution. Part of the angel's fate is tied to the willful acts of it's human. If a human succeeds in entering the Kingdom of Heaven during one of it's lifetimes, then it's angel is released from it's previous responsibilities in guiding that human.

It’s one thing to gently instruct, and another to blatantly insult those whose beliefs are different from yours.
