Angi Leads Review: The True Cost (w/ Dmitry Lipinskiy of Roofing Insights) 

I just had my first week with angis leads and they think I owe them $500 for 2 good leads, once decent one and 7 bad leads, some didn't even know why I was calling them; others didn't even answer, some claimed they already got serviced but I always call seconds after getting notified of the lead which makes me doubt if its even a homeowner looking for services. the only way I was able to get credited by 2 of those leads is by wasting such a long time by getting them on the phone. I can't do business with these vipers. im going back to thumbtack which isn't much better but at least they're not as expensive. better the devil you know than the one you don't. I hate doing business with this kind of business model; it should have a HIGHER LEAD QUALITY instead of just selling peoples information

I finally had enough and cancelled my service today. So tired of fighting them for credits on bad leads. Tried to use them for handyman service and the leads were so expensive that it made no sense to even bid. I'm done with these people. Average lead cost to install a thermostat was $65.00. I can't charge $150 to install a thermostat!

Angi leads/Homeadvisor/Craftjack/etc can work very well for you IF you have a person sitting full day calling the leads, you are a GREAT sales person, have deep pockets and willing to pay few hundred dollars per lead. If you can operate this way you can make a lot of money with them, if not you can loose thousands of dollars faster than in casino.

So I am signed up quarterly with Angie’s List, I am going to see how this first quarter plays out and if it’s the way people say then i will opt out immediately. For now, i’m just starting and i’d like any leads so we’ll see what happens for these few months.

they promised me alot and they keep none, they got my money and gave me nothing i cancel it but they refuse to leave me alone they said you have to give more money its a contract i dont know what to do I'm in trouble .......

Cancelled ours due to trash leads. Everything from bogus phone numbers, no call backs, work already completed, and just tire kicking. They often refused to refund / credit the bad lead and even try to negotiate how much of the credit they will give back. Only about 2 out of every 10 leads panned out and the leads were expensive. So, on small jobs with low profit margins, one could work a job or two for free just to pay for the bad leads they refuse to reimburse.

Keep going boys! This Monopoly should be sued out of existence and put behind bars!

I work for Angie’s for the past 6 1/2 years and they just shut down my site because they said that I had one too many cancellations and I had over 782 reviews in my rating from my five being high I was at a 4.6 and that’s where I stayed at for 6 1/2 years And they just completely locked me out because they said my rating was too low and because I had too many cancellations in 6 1/2 years I’ve only had like five total I didn’t I forgot the invention. They also ripped me off for about $15,000 the company they charge me fees for jobs that I’ve done saying that I didn’t do them and they won’t contact the customer like if you tell them call the customer and ask the customer to tell you I did the job they said that that’s the not their responsibility to call a customer, I’ve been trying to get my own business off the ground now for about two years to try to get away from this company and now that I’m off their site I will never go back to them them or Angie’s are home advisor. They’re all crooks they steal customers money they’re still employees money and then that like they don’t know what you’re talking about when you try to talk to him about it and you can’t call them you have to email them. You have to be in contact by email or message board. There’s no contacting them by phone they will not. They will hang up in your face if you work for them.

I run a successful roofing company, I invested $1,500 for Angis leads I landed my first job within 48 hours of completing my profile. The 1 job paid for the $1.500 leads and then some...After usuing all $1.500 of my leads I landed 6 job and generated a net profit after all expenses of 16k

No one is keenly interested in researching the cost of Angie’s leads. We keenly are interested in {reducing costs} and getting profit from the lead. Just a tip for your title. Search is based on interest.

Doesn't work it use too but not anymore they just recycle leads now.

Don't waste your time with Angie Leeds it's a big scam. They are out there for your money don't waste your time trust me.
