Be careful because people aren't always what they seem on websites. You may think your conversating with an adult in their 40s when in reality your actually talking to a teenager (just an example). Better to just get your groceries from the store rather than have them delivered to you by someone else you don't know and may not be able to trust.
Indeed 💯 👍👍. That's why I would rather do my own grocery and not let some strange do the grocery for me. Plus, I'm cheap, and I save a lot of money not paying and spending money plus tips to some strange doing my grocery. Whatever happened to common sense and do your own damn grocery shopping on your own and be at peace minding your own business while shopping and taking your time doing grocery on your day off from work or after work.
My question is that for delivery drivers and you see a dog, would you not stand back and see how the dog is? Like why try it to push it to deliver the order when you could have just stayed safe in the car and called the customer? Put it to the side or rrally anything that doesnt require an incident?
Nope the responsibility is on her. She knew a delivery driver was coming and didn’t put her dogs up. Or here’s a crazy idea just go shopping yourself. I live there and trust that nobody will recognize her she’s not that big of a celebrity.
@@davidhowell1415and for all we know that dog could've been a threat to no one. that man definitely is an instigator and a liar. he lied about who he was, he can lie about this.
You obviously don't realize how Instacart works. The point of the job is to make a successful delivery for each order in breakneck speed. A failed delivery is penalized because the food is perishable and can't be returned.
I’d hate to say it but her dog wouldn’t have been harmed if she went to the store herself.. unfortunately this situation is a price she had to pay because she chose convenience..
@@bribee1346 So now should everyone not have home deliveries for fear something like this might happen if they have a pet? A person can't pick up every order they have from clothes to furniture
@adiinbar993 wow someone needs to learn to read. Also, where in my sentence did I say she was using a dog whistle silly little boy 😂 I was giving an opinion on the description of man shooting the dog
@adiinbar993 Wow! Nice comeback 🤣 the one who clearly needs to learn to read my original comment is you. No where did I say a dog whistle was being used, so I'm not sure where you pulled that out from to start putting words in my mouth.
@@savagesugajiejie Simple: "dog whistle" is a widely used metaphor for using oblique terms to talk about race. Describing someone as "tall and intimidating" as a proxy for saying he's black is "using a dog whistle" in the figurative sense. My response was a quip playing on the figurative "dog whistle" you indicated she was using and the literal dog whistle she should have used to avoid the problem.
Police reports show there were no attacks on the Instacart driver, no bites or markings. Sure videos will come out sooner or later the investigation is complete.
@@lieselotmauroo9808 No it doesn't. My point is there wouldn't be any if it was true that the dogs just attempted. So the previous commenter saying there was no attack bec no bites visible doesn't mean an attack didn't happen. So I don't think that's an indicator of it not being true. I'm not saying it is true just pointing out that injuries isn't an indicator of it
I feel bad for the family but why was the dog outside when they knew a delivery was coming. Some people don't like dogs friendly or not. They're partly responsible for what happened.
Keep your damn dogs on a leash or in the house. Y'all love dogs so much you expect a human to willfilly suffer whatever your unsupervised dog dishes out. Nope. Stop being negligent owners. It's your fault if your dog is aggressive towards and/or attacking someone and gets hurt.
I’m wondering though if we aren’t getting the full story. Maybe they were watching the cameras expecting a little old lady, and were going to put the dogs away when an old lady came to the gate. Instead they saw a tall man and maybe were scared so left the dogs out? She seems pretty shocked that the delivery driver wasn’t the little old lady, that’s for sure
It's hard to tell if someone's dog is friendly or not. Even friendly dogs get super excited that they come charging at you wanting to play, but it can look and feel intimidating. I was walking my small JRT and one of my neighbors' big dog was in their yard barking at my dog and I. Then the neighbors dog breaks through the wood fence and comes charging at us, went straight for my JRT. I picked up my JRT and started screaming. My neighbor comes out and says that his dog is friendly and just wants to play. It sure did not look or feel like he wanted to play. So I can totally see how this delivery driver must have thought that dog was going to harm him. It's a very sad and unfortunate situation for both parties involved.
This sucks. Please secure your dog, i have a dog myself and always secure it when anyone comes over. I would hate for a misunderstanding like this to happen 😞
She wasn’t expecting the delivery at the time the guy showed up, he never alerted her that he had arrived. Also, the app showed a picture of a woman and she had a female name, she was expecting a woman shopper. He was using a fake ID.
Nobody is even trying to get this man's side of the story, which is interesting since from Angie's side of things this sounds like her fault. She's going to financially destroy this man because she couldn't be bothered to lock up her dogs.
Why was her dog outside when she was expecting a delivery?! It doesn't matter if it was a little old lady or a younger man. The Dog could've seemed aggressive towards both and have the end result. It's her fault as an irresponsible pet owner.
A dog bite can lead to sepsis. I wouldn’t want to be out of work because someone couldn’t keep their dog secure. Honestly should have just left with their groceries or whatever instacarts policy is with that. I know mail carriers withhold the delivery or leave it at a depot
Yea they say the worst part of a dog bite is if the dog saliva get in your open womb u might have to amputate your limbs..that’s why I hate videos on instagram of people letting their dogs kiss and lick there newborn baby in the mouth..
shes wrong to blame that man, her dog her responsibility and if you knew you were getting a delivery and they would come to your house with ur dogs who obviously werent trained well enough then thats ur fault and if it had been that little old lady youd be getting sued because ur dog could have given that lady a heart attack😡so ppl just need to do better and quit blaming others
@@strawberrysundae_meganThen why was he risking an incident by going up to her house for the delivery? He had her number and could have easily communicated with her that a dog was outside and if it qas her could she come get it.
I don’t blame the guy. If you know you have a delivery driver delivering food of all things, it’s on you to put your dog/dogs up where they can’t charge the delivery person. I’m sorry she lost her dog but at the end of the day it’s on her and her kids not the dude. Here’s a crazy idea, go do your own grocery shopping and this wouldn’t have happened.

criminal driver. i have dogs and fear some types of dogs, so i understand both sides. however, he actively CHOSE to keep going towards the "threat", that is HIS fault. the dog wasn't chasing him or anything, he was approaching it. leave the groceries 5ft from the porch and everything would've been fine.

lol. Whaaaaaaat??? He said the he was texting and calling the owners. At some point in time the dogs walked off (he probably thought the owners were responsible and got the dogs) he THEN proceeded to drop of the groceries… switching the entire story to make a point is wild….
The same goes with Uber eats, GrubHub, and Doordash. They have the person name and face profile, but once they get out of the car and deliver your food or grocery, it is a different person like a male or a female but not the person you expected to be base on their profile picture. They need to investigate, and they need to fix that problem that is going on with Instacart, Doordash, Uber Eats, and GrubHub.
My dog sniffed a guys leg who came up to me and started talking to me and then he started yelling “that dog tried to bite me” which DIDNT happen. He was around 6’4 and buff, scared of a little dog..? I dont believe that delivery man at all, sure the dog may have ran up to him but I doubt he was aggressive. Notice how the man said “tried to bite” so he didn’t bite you??? But you thought it was appropriate to pull a gun out? Ok.. he’s clearly just afraid of dogs.
If she’s expecting someone, why not keep the dumb dog inside? Ppl shouldn’t have to guess if they’ll be attacked. Keep the animal inside, why should he wait to be attacked? Then he can’t even work.
@@notyourtypicalcomment2399 Wow, big brain over here. What perfect world do you live in? Can't the same be said about the delivery driver being scared of a cute beagle? Maybe he shouldn't be a delivery driver if he's scared of pulling into a yard with a dog. Just tell us you hate dogs next time lol
The Delivery Driver Could’ve Easily Cancelled the Order & Drove Away, if Harmon Ignored the Texts/PhoneCalls.. No Reason for Delivery Drivers to Carry Firearms on Peoples Private Property. Only Mace.
@P90, But It IS a serious problem when a driver guns down a dog on the owner’s private property. Again, the driver could’ve easily drove away, regardless if Harmon’s order was delivered or not. He could’ve went as far as putting Harmon’s groceries on her driveway. As long as he contacted his employer before hand, informing the employer about the situation.. I totally believe that delivery drivers should carry Mace for protection. Dash Cameras too (front, back & both sides).
I guess you haven't seen or heard of the countless "full-grown men" that have been severely mauled by dogs over the years... this was such a stupid comment to make
If you’re texting them that you’re there and to remove the dog and whatever why proceed onto their property? Like I get you want to move on with your day but if you see a dog you’re worried about why go “well screw it, ima go anyways” then play victim when you get scared it’s going to bite you
What does she hope to gain by suing the delivery man? You can't get blood out of a stone. The man sounded genuine, he thought he was going to get bitten. He must see dogs all the time & can judge their intentions. I doubt he goes around shooting dogs without serious cause. She said it herself, the man looked "intimidating" the dog probably thought so, too & went in to growl or bite him. No one wants to get bitten by a dog.

Who just shoots a random dog? Even if it’s outside or a stray, that’s not normal. Dog’s wander their way everywhere, just like cats or raccoon's. Also why does a delivery driver have a gun?
Without video evidence, I'm inclined to take the word of the driver on this one, especially after I heard her start going on about what he looked like-a tall, intimidating man, instead of a small, middle-aged woman. Come on, just say what you really mean: he was Black, wasn't he?

The delivery driver didn't protect himself. The dog was playing with the daughters when he pulled up. He wasn't supposed to have the gun in the first place.
I don't really think she meant it that way. You could hear how aggressive he sounded in the video - plus he had a gun. Of course that's intimidating. Drivers aren't even normally allowed to carry guns. I know Uber and Lyft aren't, so I wouldn't think Instacart can either. Don't take it as a racial thing.
