It's a busy start to the season for Dave as he heads to Welsh Wales for a fun club race. Meet the new TT racer and see some familiar BSB faces. obsessionengineering.co.uk/shop www.rapidtraining.co.uk/
Pleasure to meet you at this round Dave, came over and introduced myself. The red flag in pre injection race 1 was me, touched the curb on the exit of church and went to the moon and landed in a heap head first 😂 all good now on the mend bikes pretty much fixed and I’ll be back out for some more motorbike fun soon as!
Great video as usual. It will be interesting to see how Julian Trimmer will do on your bike at the TT. His interview on the TT channel was good, hearing how he blagged his way into the TT with no road racing experience! Also nice to see Mexico's fastest road racer back on your videos! Where's Martin? Is he not riding an Obsession bike at the TT this year?
Nice vid. Thanks Dave. Always liked the ZXR. They look great. Awesome that you are giving back to the sport supporting J Trummer at the TT (wish him the best) and your work with Franco. I'll be rooting for the lad. I wish you the best of luck this year.
Love your passion for bikes & bike knowledge. The weather was one of the reasons I bailed on that part of the world. Your video seems to have vindicated my move.
Thank you dave for another great episode it’s great to see you out there having fun with NO pressure I remember the end of the TT last year and your decision like I told you. You don’t have anything to prove to nobody you have already done more than most and should be proud! Have fun with the upcoming season stay safe and hope all is well. Cheers from California!
Shame you didnt include at least one full unedited lap, I was interested to see what lines you take on the classic bike. Good to see you dust off the ZX7 anyway. Angelsey is a great track but infamous for the "4 seasons in a day" weather.
Evening Dave…..That’s Dunlops for you in spring weather….in the U.K…..lol. should have put the Metzler on a bit sooner……😉 👍🇮🇲. Ps great to see Josh , he’s a happy chappy, and a top scouser, 👍👌😉
Great stuff. Nice to see you getting your leg over for a change, in a manner of speaking!! Even better, you have Julian onboard. Never heard of him until a few weeks back when I listened to him on the TT Podcast. What an interesting chap and hope he goes well at the TT this year. Looking forward to hear about his exploits on your twin through the channel. Might need a hat for BSB at Knockhill this year; if only I could think where to get something stylish and um... orange. 🤔
I’ve only just accidentally found your channel via teapotone and I’ve watched a quite a few videos and I’ve got a Daft question I suppose about the TT racing do you memories the track or is it muscle memory or pure reactions to race around the track. I’ve wanted the itv4 coverage for years in total wonder I like the rapid training advert
All the TT track is knowledge based, loads of time spent learning and planning, so you only have to react to the bike or any little changes. It's too fast to ride it unknown
😉 i disslike if a slide start ...although speed , break-power m/ sec. ^2 , lean angle could be right for the corner ...but the tiere company have a bubble-ballon big advertising campain 🤮 ...month later after saving mony (200-400€ without wheels)the next try with a other brand ... -modern times ?
