I had a similar issue with my 73 K20 (it’s a daily driver) that the new neighbors complained… we had a very direct talk.something to the effect that we can be friendly or not, it was their choice and they moved into my neighborhood not the other way around.

As long as it’s registered and insured they CANT do anything to you. I would make sure I had it parked in my driveway regardless of what the truck looks like. Your neighbors sound like pain in @$$. I've got my dad's 78 Ford F-150 4x4, and 67 Chevelle where I'm renting on same property next to my landlords. No problems, I actually have people complimenting vehicles or offering to buy. Waiting till everything runs before I bring 88 Yota 4x4 home so I don't tick them off but they''ve been really cool so far.👍

Mine have been tagged as an abandoned vehicle three times in the last month from my bastard neighbors trying to force me to get them off the street. A friend of mine had to sell his first car because of the fines and pressure from the HOA he was foolish enough to move into. He sold it for $1000 -- a small fraction of it's real value (not even the value of just the 2 included NOS bumpers alone which he'd had for it for over 40 years at that time but never installed or the other full set of NOS body trim and interior components as well as the model specific engine parts for doing the conversion..) The car he had ran, no rust, no dents, but needed paint and interior redone. What was his car? A straight, rust and dent free 1958 Plymouth Belvedere 2 Dr hardtop, with literally everything needed to turn it into a 58 Plymouth Fury Christine clone. The rebuilt engine already had the correct Fury dual quad set-up installed and tuned along with any other under hood items that were Fury specific. Everything was NOS that he had bought back in the late 60's through 1971 when he found the last part -- the NOS guage cluster with the 150 MPH speedo. He was dealing with a severe medical problem at the time and didn't have the psychological strength to fight it at the time. Nearly a full year later he had recovered physically but losing his car emotionally crushed him. This happened in 2009.

You probably know by now, being this was a year ago, but you can just put the transfer case in neutral and the trans in park and tow it no problem. I own a cucv just like the one you own, and went through hell with neighbors and the HOA about, you can’t have commercial trucks in here. I brought it to court being it’s for private use and I won my case. 👍🇺🇸

I had a 1976 2 door Ford Granada (Yes, laugh). I had neighbors complain about that car everytime it was in my driveway or parked at front. Someone even slashed one of my tires (I found out who it was) I was going to do a fox body Mustang conversion to the grandma mobile so I decidedly to blow my crap straight six with one wheel spin in front of my neighbor I knew slashed my tire (put a spare tire to replaced the slashed) and sent it full beans peeling and blowing up the engine in front of my neighbors and limped it back to my driveway. I ended up selling the Granada but damn that felt good.

Only an idiot would live in a neighborhood run by an HOA. The City I patrol doesn't allow anything parked in a driveway. All vehicles must be in a garage or hidden in a backyard. The next City over doesn't allow overnight parking on City streets.

Sucks man! My boss moved to a neighborhood in 2007 about 2017 a guy moved in 3 houses down hes a retired detective and former federal police officer so he says. That dude made his own HOA tried to get my boss to get rid if his vehicles they are all registered & get used. Then tried to say no commercial vehicles. The dude lost in court the county said Sr you can't make ur own HOA its not really a neighborhood its just a dead end street.

Friend my work truck was beat to hell 10 times over been in many wrecks. Paid a grand for it made 10 grand off ins. Claims. But was so ugly afraid to park on side road. Maybe get towed for junk truck but it was legal. But whenever i went to dump they thought i was bringing in truck. Bud of mine had same guy next door as you put step van in drive way orange paint on side said how you like me now. It was bad but next door had to push. Have great life peace

you should defenetly put some marine injectors in that 6.2 and advance the injector pump a bit until there's just a bit of fuel knock. after that you will have around 220hp instead of 180 or 160hp

I had a piece of shit Neighbor that called on my M715 all the time. The man would come spraypaint lines on my tires to make sure I was driving it. Never found out who it was. That's why I live in the sticks now.

I'd rather have a row of driveways with pickup trucks in them than that same row filled with rice rockets (any kind of showy foreign model). Practicality trumps everything in my opinion.

Most people don't think about it. But having these old trucks and cars is the one of the best helping the environment. Using a vehicle for a very long time and maintaining it right. Saves a ton of resources. Most people buy a new car every 5 to 8 yrs. Because they don't know how to repair them and keep them running tiptop. It takes so much energy and resources to crush and separate and rebuild a brand new car. Also it saves you a lot of money not having to pay a car note every month. Also these new cars and trucks have no personality. Its easy to fall in love with older vehicles. I have two classic trucks I'm happy to look at and drive everyday. And their easy and cheap to fix.

I really hate nosey neighbors. I just got in trouble for filling in washed out areas in my yard without a permit. Also didn't help that I kicked the the code enforcement guys off my property and and told them which direction they could go.

Every square body or OBS ive had the wipers did their own thing. My moms old square body the wipers would randomly come on. We never did figure out why it did it and it was totally random which makes it hard to diagnose

The problem is he's homeowners associations are going Way beyond what they should be their complaint haven't complaints about flags flying in people's yards and on their property I mean you paid for the property you pay the property tax why should they say anything it's your vehicle your driveway these homeowners associations are getting ridiculous and going way overboard with their rules and regulations they need to be stopped
