Fantastic demonstration!! I teach tech for a living, and you sir did an excellent job explaining the entire signal chain! I spent 3 hours taking notes and drawing everything you explained, and it was the best 3 hours of training that I have received in a very very long time. I appreciated the fact that you broke down each section in great detail, and explained how each component affects the circuit, I couldn’t be more impressed with your work. I’ve read Brian Wampler’s book, and a couple of Craig Anderton’s on audio circuits, not to mention the bookshelves of electronic books from my past education. You finally made it all click for me. [TRANSISTOR BOOSTER] Can't get where it can amplifing when on the transistor is 10K from 9V and 22R to the GND? As I understand this is arrond 450 times lower signal than supply voltage? So we talking about otput sinal 0.02Vpp ?? Yeas I understand for op amp its a lot for differential check, but what for all of this?
What you are probably hearing the the general "noise" of the circuit, but where on other pedals it would usually be pretty quiet, you are now amplifying it with all that high gain circuitry.
As of the toe, that actually was a "happy accident", or maybe a not-so-happy one. As of Trump, I wasn't actually intending to be political. Regardless of which side of the political spectrum most people are in, I would like to think both sides can agree that he is: 1. Angry and 2. Orange. I can't really find anyone else that meets those two requirements. Maybe "Snooki" or Desperate Housewives cast, but meh, I'm too lazy to change it now. LOL
