An hour won't freeze pure water but can freeze things that aren't just water like meat Adding stuff to water can raise its freezing point

It totally depends on the amount of water. If he put the meat in the freezer on a plate (not bunched up in a bag) it would of froze just fine

@@DylanDrinksWater typically adding things to water lowers the freezing temp, not raises. Hence why salt is used in winter to prevent ice.

One of my absolute favorite things about Mr. Sausage is that he seems to use one hour for just about anything. Freezing, boiling, dehydrating, an hour oughta do it.

Babbish has mentioned before that freezing the metal grinding components along with the meat also reduces the meat jelly result.

When I used to work as a meat clerk I always made sure to have a display of hard apple cider next to the counter when we had pork on sale. Pork and apples are a fantastic combination normally, and adding hard cider to a stuffed chop is just a solid choice.

I have an idea: You know how you've mentioned that some sausages have the potential to be much better than they turned out? You've pointed out some problems in a few promising sausages and said they needed to be fixed. I think you should do that. That would make an awesome series. You might find a new favorite sausage with some wild stuff in it.

@@wolfetteplays8894 I honestly think it's becauce of the iron content in beef that it works so well. Iron content in duck is even less than in chicken. I am absolutely not trying to say meat other than beef would work, and I would absolutely try every variety, but I just don't see the taste profile of anything other meat than beef working well Guinness.

Great cider choice, Angry Orchard is an amazing cider. I imagine a dryer cider(Aspall is fantastic) would be better for sausages. Angioletti is also an amazing cider.

Hey, pro chef here. Just a tip the meat won’t freeze well if you lump it in a bag. If you can put it in a sheet tray or like a container with a larger surface area and it will freeze more throughly and quicker.

Reducing cider in the pan after frying pork chops is always a solid dinner choice so with some seasoning and like reducing the cider to a syrup and mixing into the meat before going into the casing this could easily have been a 5/5 sausage
