My stress and anxiety levels increase every time Sam gets within 10 metres of a diesel engine! 🤪

Hi there, The last few weeks my sciatica has come back to haunt again at the age of 39yr old. The first time I experienced such pain in my back was about 6 years ago. After doctors diagnosed braking my back in my late teenage years playing rugby league, resulted in this painful injury later on in life ! Time can get away from us so quick .. But I’m so happy & grateful in the last few days. That I have come across this beautiful content you & Sue are putting together. Been so funny & giving me some good laughs. Down to earth viewing, good sense in humour, interesting & intelligent. Also raising awareness that man can easily put off in life. The viewing & content you are putting together is on par if not better quality than the days of Channel 9. I can even vaguely remember the show you partnered up with Paul Vautin. Gee that’s some time ago coming from a 39yr old. Although I’m born & bred on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Played local rugby league here. I’m a league supporter, but do follow both codes in time slots that suits. The 9 network would televise the league footy show on a Thursday night but I did try my best to watch the replay of the AFL footy show afterwards. The way you explain & express yourself, with build ups & punchlines are next to nothing. Very humorous witty & clever. You actually remind me a bit of my old man at times. Maybe a baby boomer thing. Lol. The work you guys a putting together is fantastic. I’m putting the word out there & letting people know to have a look at the great content you guys are creating for viewing & you might be a little surprised on the age range of people who are enjoying it also… Thanks ..

Mate the very best part of what you to do is....honesty...absolutely wonderful to watch that we are all human...even star athletes. Love it very much after a hard days work I can laugh....

If your oil is half way on the dip stick that’s fine, to much oil can be as bad as not enough, also you want to have the container opening up top not at the bottom when you pour the oil out of the container, that way it helps it breath as it pours. You won’t get that glug glug glug, it’ll flow out nice & smooth.

Always pour with the outlet at the top!

The size of those engines gee that must drink a lot of Diesel fuel glad I’m not paying in fact I couldn’t afford it would love to know how much $$$ it cost from Melbourne to QLD. Also that oil did look very black Sam you do know boats also need a oil change 😮

I think he would enjoy that and his wife.. I am not here to tell you what to do .. But I will. When was the last time the CATs got an oil change plus filters ?

Time for new oil mate! Probs done enough hours to change rather than time. Ever thought of getting oil analysis done? Ur mechanics can do that by sending sample to Caterpillar and they check wear levels, metal and water content of oil etc. also, oil level doesn't need to be on max level. Safe travels mate

Turn the Container Sideways then it pours easier . If your Engine Oil is Black, You need to Get a Mechanic and do a Oil Change and do the Oil Filter at the same time.

Diesel oil tends to go very black after a few hours of operations. The viscosity of the oil is the main thing and your engine oil looked quite thick which means it’s still ok.. l say this because l used to be a farmer and spent 30 years maintaining diesel engines in tractors and diesel irrigation pumps.

Geez I wish I had that much space in my engine room!

Sam for someone who has a collection of classic cars and does not no the difference between a transmission and a engine doesn’t deserve to own a classic it’s a waste on someone who knows nothing on how they work and only goes on looks. 😂

Transmission oil is light and thin, engine oil is thick and gooey. Thems the difference. It is better to top up the oil when the engine is warm. Put he oil cap back when you finish ….

Is there a hot oil level and cold oil level for your engine? Too much oil can also be a problem.

Oil aint OIL..Sal.!!!

You should run the engine first to warm up the oil before testing Sam. As the oil heats up, it settles in the sump quicker due to the change in viscosity. Otherwise, you will end up with a false reading and keep adding oil. Please follow these protocols before you end up being the dipstick Sam.😂

As soon as you saw the transmission oil( was red in colour) and ss thin as red wine , you would have know it was wrong , why are you being such a drama queen? Everything is fucking drama drama. Looks like this boat you have bought. It’s a bit of a lemon.
