Why do you say that about bill ? His boats are expensive ? There is no law against making money. His boats seam to be high quality. Does he not give good after sales service ? Did he copy someone else’s boat? What is it that you dislike about him so bad you would say what you said?
Funny, know its not the same since im talking about my mono, but i basically don't run hi-rake anymore since i think it upsets the boat way more than for instance an x-series. Interesting you found same on a cat. My theory is you can compensate speed loss with a bit bigger prop since the ampdraw also is bit less from low(er) rake.... Good solid run
@peteroosterhoff8850 Thank you. I love high rake props because they hold the blast behind them, instead of spraying outwards. More efficient imo. But not good if I can't tune the boat...
@@chilly7261 Your right about they are more efficient. From what i've seen you get the highest speeds with those. My interest would be comparing them in ampdraw and then speed. If you could run 1 or 2mm more diameter with an x-serie, maybe the difference is minimal. Never had a change to compare or measure, but would be interesting i think...
So noisey must be all that carbon fibre echoing. Are your props inward rotating. ironclad Rc says it’s faster that way. If the cone shape is bigger with the CNC’s ,shouldn’t you have went the other way with the struts seams the wider cone should blow the back up so raising the rear of the struts would counteract the cones sizes effect. Oops I forgot to guess the speed. I was thinking over the hundred because of the length of your full trigger.
@jamesatkinson7517 With the ABC-1817-17-45 high rake props it's blown off at minus 3.8 degrees on the stingers. So back of the stingers were way down to hold the bow down. With these props I'm at minus 1.8 degrees, so stingers still down slightly in the back, but moved up from where they were...
