Looking back, I really appreciate how post-city folk, the devs started to put more thought into the design of the villager houses. While these houses have their charms it just kinda feels like they put random furniture wherever

I always thought the houses in the first _Animal Crossing_ were (mostly) pretty well put together, so I very much appreciate you putting this together to show them all off like this!

This is absolutely awesome… the GC houses are so wacky and it’s fun to see what they did with the limited items, it’s nice to see all of them. Curious to see the houses in different revisions like e+, hope someone does that too but thanks for the vid 10:52 they’re playing chess! At war!

i loved this. the houses were so strange and unique back then! i even remembered a few from my own villagers on my gamecube. the little poems occasionally were funny too. thanks for the work to catalog all these houses!

While you didn't show Ricky's house exterior which is a log cabin with a green roof, his exterior seems to resemble the exterior of a Texas Roadhouse restaurant and his theme is a western tavern. Edit: I think it seems to be a coincidence as Texas Roadhouse never had any locations in Japan.

Super awesome of you to document these! It gives me the idea to try and remake all these in NH as best as I can, maybe even spruce them up a bit!

I always wondered how a lot of these animals sleep... yeah, many have beds and comfy looking sofas but a lot don't!

Apollo's house I think is supposed themed after The Oval Office in The White House. I find it weird how Aziz's house does not have an Asian song playing as his house is the theme of an Asian Jungle. The song Lucky K.K. isn't even an Asian song, it's an Irish song, Imperial K.K. would've fit the theme. With Dotty's house having the theme of Easter Island, technically that makes her an Easter bunny. Paolo's house having K.K. March sounds like a reference to that song from Dumbo. Robin's house exterior having a red roof seems to me the designers thought of the restaurant chain Red Robin. Tom's house exterior is a cabin, coincidence?

Pate's house is my absolute favourite. The gyroids are delayed just enough to lull you into a false sense of security and get stuck in the conversation zoom-in where you can really enjoy it when they let loose. "WAAAAAH!" "WAAAHHHH!"

Back in the New Leaf days, I recreated Aziz's house in the back room of one of my player's houses! He was a favorite of mine when I was still playing PG. (Also had the squechoids and tootoids in two of my other houses. XD It was fun to see and hear them again!) By the way, was it just my laptop, or did the audio get kinda static-y at random points?

I like the gyroids on Dozer's metronome. Snooty, Axel, Petunia, Kiki, Belle, and Wart Jr. Those four villagers have bovoids. I don't like Biskit's gyroids because he has 1 bovoid and 1 tootoid with K.K. Mambo. I like Biskit's music. And also, I like the gyroids with Limberg's K.K. Folk music, and Tabby's gyroids because she has no music. She has a retro television. Or somewhat.
