I feel the other way around lol. I really don’t want more buildings. To me best case scenario would be if the roost was located in the museum like in City Folk, second best case is he visits the plaza like Kicks, KK, Leif, etc. I don’t know if I really want Brewster in NH if he got his own building tbh 😂
I understand why you may not want more buildings especially if your happy with your island but tbh the game allows for things to continually change where you can build and destroy things around the island. I think there was a fear of getting new buildings and having to tear down your island to fit in the building Personally I think I’d prefer to get a building than putting it in museum bc it changes and adds another place to go than trying to entice players to go into the museum especially the amount of loading screens I never go to museum anymore it gets out in the back of my island.. and what about people who have kept the museum in blathers tent??
@@crossingponies9434 I have no problem with changing my island, flattened many times at this point lol. But I feel like because it is a deserted island, not a blooming city like in New Leaf, it doesn’t make sense to add more buildings. And if we get a building for Blathers, people will want a building for kicks, one for Label, one for Leaf, and eventually we’ll run out of space and people want bigger islands or multiple islands etc. It would make the most sense for Blathers to visit the plaza with a little coffee cart or something because that’s what many other NPC’s do and it fits the island theme, but having grown up with City Folk I can’t help but think he belongs in the Roost in the museum hehe.
There are 8 seats for a reason... It was probably intended for 8 people on multiplayer to go to minigame islands together before Nintendo abandoned the game.
Bug off is today and I'm really enjoying the struggle to beat my previous high score. I'm amazed at how much I enjoy random villager move ins, I don't miss villager hunts at all.
@@caden5936 wow I've been looking for one all day, got my high score with agrias butterfly. Just so you know for future bug off events, if you break your own points record you get special bug off furniture. Next time start by handing Nat your smallest bugs first then you have a better chance of breaking your own high score. Today I got a spider clock and a butterfly table. It takes a few events to get all the items so don't expect to get it all at once it's designed to take a while (which is awesome btw).
Definitely hoping for the return of Brewster. But I have mixed feelings about K.K. leaving the plaza. It gives us that outdoor island feel. Would be fun to see more weather-related game play. Concert at The Roost during the winter season and outdoors at the plaza during the summer. Also how about a coffee-to-go cup we could take with us?
I really miss the café from New Leaf, just going in and working as part of my daily routine. I think we're more likely to get Kappn for summer though and Brewster in autumn. If Kappn or his daughter could turn up with fancy fruit I'd be very happy. I need my lemons 🍋 back.
I would also like for the coffee to give you the full ten points for strength after drinking it without having to eat one piece of fruit at a time or wasting turnips.
I don’t understand why the game was published missing so much content that fans have explicitly communicated to Nintendo that they love and wish to see moving forward. Nintendo made it for a reason and it was successful so why did the development team take it back? We’re at the 1.5 (ish) year mark since release so I’m not sure what’s up
omg these vid get my hopes up so much, if there ever became a way for old villagers to revisit our islands i would CRY like it's so sad when you encounter them on a mystery island or get a message in a bottle from them and they don't remember you :(
All some pretty interesting points, especially the gyroid storage if gyroids are finally added. Here are some suggestions too: - Brewster can give us DIY recipes instead of just one cafe item. We can use the coffee beans he offers us as DIY material. - Serving villagers the PERFECT coffee can also bump up their friendship rates aside from just gift giving. - Serving NPCs (Like Harriet or the Re-tail couple) their perfect coffees will give us friendship points and a chance to get exclusive character furnitre (like a salon chair or a re-tail workbench) along with a chance to get their photographs. - Drinking coffee will boost your running and tool using speed - Maybe giving brewster certain fruits or items will allow him to make "food furniture", like 10 coconuts will allow hin to make a basket of coconuts or 5 peaches can allow him to make peach parfaits
For special characters, beyond just the characters we see from day to day on the island, we could also see Resetti and possibly his brother. It's been all but stated that Resetti is in charge of the Rescue Service, so having him show up in the Roost would not be out of place. We might also see other NPCs from past games make appearances on the island... Chip, Nat, and Joan come to mind, and probably others as well. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Katrina or Tortimer show up there.
I'll be honest, I do have some slight hope that Brewster will return to New Horizons since he was found in the games code again, but if he doesn't return at all this year then I don't think he'll ever come back. Also I don't see KK Slider moving out of the plaza. I think he's one of the special characters that'll remain in his spot forever.
Aww I'd love to say hi to my old villagers. It would be such a nice interaction and also making the game a tad more realistic with villager's interactions, like them remembering their time on the island :,)
I want them to actually use the dock! I LOVE Crazy Redd's boat shop, I think other special characters should also get a little boat. Not necessarily with an interior, perhaps similar to the plaza stands but on a little boat. Maybe you can jump from the dock onto the boat and then talk to the characters. Would also allow for more than one visitor!
Great video! I don’t think the “wandering former resident” really works with an island setting, but here’s hoping we definitely get Brewster! I wouldn’t even mind the tiny Roost kiosk, especially in Autumn like in Pocket Camp. I made an outdoor Roost museum cafe.
I don't mind if they never bring Brewster to New Horizons. But of course he's a good addition too. All I want is that my former villagers to visit once in a while. It's kinda sad when I saw them on a mystery island and they don't remember me 😢
I got a prediction that is if you buy a cup of coffee you could hold it like an item but also drink it four times. Each time you drink it you fill 5 food slots
If the roost was added and we get to see special characters like K.K and Kicks visit we could chat with them and give them items or make them coffee eventually you could get there photo seeing as even if you have their amiibo you still only get there poster from Harvey
I have over 1000 hours in this game, but I've stopped hoping for more substantial updates for this game. Pretty sure it's all gonna be "new and exciting" items like... another non-functional toy.
Coffee Beans. Well I liked Brewster in new leaf. K. K. played in Shrunks club in New Leaf. I liked that better than the plaza. I'd rather see Kicks and Leif in their own store too. I also liked Copper and his deputy telling you they saw someone else on the island and then you go search to find Gracie Grace or Saharah etc. The walrus that sold the art was also cool. Everything has its heyday and then it gets old. They came up with Harv's campground but for me it wasn't any more fun than Harv's island now. I hope they bring back Tortimer's island when Kapp'n would sing you to the island his family ran and you could buy merch with special currency or go on a side game to earn points that you accumulated. Wait I just had a brain blast! Could the cafe be some sort of potential boat that docks at the other boardwalk. My island has one in the bottom right corner but I’m not sure if everyone’s does
im was thinkng that brewster could be a one day event like the other npc and only show up on the plaza instead being on the island all the time, the good thing about this would make it fun waiting when he shows up and not rush this update cause if hes there all the time this update will be done so quickly and make players get bored of this game too quickly and for getting his own building i do belive it could happen but im wont be shock if he doesnt since nintendo might believe there isnt anyroom for players to plant his shop.
When Brewster opens a Café..it would be nice when the Coffee brings Boosts, like crafting 5 Itens at the Same time. But Honostly..i don't think we will see Brewster so far. Fun Fact in Germany his name is Kofi ;-)
Im so bored of NH now. I got all the villagers i wanted and there is nothing to do. I have achievements to do but im just too lazy to do them. NH did come at a good time, but I think its time is over now. Nothing lasts forever.
I don't know why everyone wants the roost. He sounds boring. Gyroids I understand bring it, but the whole coffee features sound like I'll be bored in 2 days again.
@@Anonymous-bi5pv yeah, but if we get the coffee shop.. what next? it doesn't sound like it'll do much regarding daily gameplay, plus those who dont care much for the appearance of their island wont really be getting much. i just think its more of a nostalgic thing, and considering acnh is my first main animal crossing game, i cant relate to that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ personally id much rather like to see gyroids implemented to the game
I don't think old characters will be a thing in new horizons given the new mechanic of finding villagers on nook mile islands. If old villagers had a memory, surely we would've been recognised by now?
